If the government gets into the business of regulating and controlling carbon emissions it will be an unparalleled concentration of power far exceeding the New Deal under Roosevelt. The government will be in complete control over what businesses and average citizens consume and produce. It is the gateway excuse to rule, regulate and control your daily life in a fashion that we have never tolerated before but are now expected to meekly accept as we attempt to bailout the bathtub with a teaspoon. Never have Americans been so willing to hand over the most fundamental financial, transportation and quality of life decisions to a central authority on such questionable grounds.
We have been brainwashed that climate change is mainly caused by human activity and that somehow carbon taxes, economic socialism, monitoring lawn mower emissions, criticizing cow flatulence and flailing away at the faceless evil that is oil will somehow make a difference on climate changes we are only barely beginning to understand, let alone significantly influence one way or another.
Rather disturbingly, presidential hopeful Senator Barack Obama made the following statement while campaigning in Oregon. P>
We cant drive our SUVs and eat as much as we want and keep our homes on 72 degrees at all times and then just expect that other countries are going to say OK. Thats not leadership, Obama declared. Thats not going to happen.
Im sorry, excuse me? Id be happy to see him or one of his cronies point out to me where in the constitution an Obama administration has the right to tell me how much food I can feed my family, or how many miles my car must get per gallon to be legal or whether or not I can turn the air conditioner on.

THAT'S EXACTLY WHY THEY ARE PUSHING THIS GLOBAL WARMING CRAP DOWN OUR THROATS!...................
Not to worry, I’m sure the American people will rise up and...uh, nervemind. We’ll just roll over and take it as usual.
What would be wrong with a 25 million man march. Taking Washington, removing the 5 Marxist SC justices, informing the dems in congress that a few laws are going to be changed on the spot, etc. I think it would be a hell of an idea and one which might just save the people of the US from a shooting war to reclaim our freedom.
Well it ends up it not the air we breath in (Oxygen)
..It's air we breath out (Carbon Dioxide)
If all these extreme increases in government are implemented, imagine how hard it would be to voice scientific disagreement ten years from now. Might even be illegal.
Where do I sign up? G.Gordon used to be on the air in Rochester, NY until some sports babe took the slot for less money. She’s gone too and Hot-Talk Radio ain’t so hot.
For once, just once, I would like to have some solutions tossed in to the equation by these brainiacs who tell us of problems we are quite aware of.
I used to love the g-man....Only catch him on the internet now.
Do you have any suggestions?
That’s unconstitutional..............
American Idle...........
they finish voting for the newest American Idol;
watching a rerun of MASH, Sex in the City, etc.;
tossing back shooters at Hooters;
driving the kiddies to soccer practice (the latest idol replacing God)
or working out at the gym to get that perfect body.
Maybe "rising up" is just too much trouble unless they can get some government $$$$$$$$ for their effort.
Disgusting isn’t it?
Save the planet from the humans! Shoot a liberal today!

You mean, as opposed to the many existing laws that are unconstitutional and the desire to push even more unconstitutional laws on us? When does one say, “Enough is enough,”?
I’m surprised there are so many people who still think fascism is right-wing, which is most certainly not.
People need to wake up and realize the government is not the solution to everything (or even most things for that matter) and that the amount of regulation and taxation passed to accomodate these “green changes” will destroy our economy and our liberties and cause our Republic to implode.
Think Boston Tea party ... or the Battle of Lexington and Concord ... or The Battle of Long Island.
Different time, same enemy ... OPPRESSION
