Thanks for posting this.
For further reference, from the article:
There is one simple way for the candidate to clear up the issue once and for all: produce for public inspection and objective analysis the paper copy of his original Hawaiian birth certificate — if one exists. Ordinary citizens are required to produce one to get a passport or a driver’s license. Surely it’s not too much to ask from a man who aspires to hold the highest office in the land.
The issue is not whether Obama is black or white, Christian or Muslim. It is whether he was born in the USA and thus a citizen eligible according to the Constitution to run for President.

Was Obama's "Certificate of Birth" manufactured?

All I can say about this is......if I have in my possession a very plain original birth certificate from the military with a notary stamp impression...probably typewritten on a 1941 Royal Aristocrat by the looks of it.....then why doesn't this retard have an original to show Americans he is for real?
I would think that it would be a requirement for those running for the highest office in the land to show he/she was born here with an original of his birth certificate.
I'm just sayin...... ;)

Hey Kevmo. There are other possibilities. They may list his religion, he may have had a different birth name, his parents may not have been married, etc
Shouldn't the burden of proof be on those making the accusations and not on those being accused?
There is one simple way to put it all to rest. Provide evidence that Obama wasn't born in Honolulu on August 4th, 1961. Unless someone can do that, then we can quibble over pictures of documents all day long and that won't change the fact that Obama is a natural born U.S. citizen.
Interesting you mention passport. I wonder if he has a U.S. passport? Maybe that’s why he won’t go to Iraq?
Could this have been what those State Dept. contractors were scrutinizing last winter when they were fired for looking at candidates’ passports?

I’ve already made this request, right here on FR:

No they're not. They are required to produce a "certified copy" of the certificate, which is what this certificate appears to be. Note that such a certificate need not be an exact photocopy duplicate of the certificate on file, and frequently isn't. It only has to contain the same information, typically in computer-printed form nowadays, and an official seal and signature.
Besides, it wouldn't matter if he were born in Timbuktu or the moons of Saturn; his mother is American and so he is a natural-born citizen, i.e. a citizen from birth. Pursuing this avenue is a laughable waste of time and effort.
