t is now a virtual certainty that the "birth certificate" claimed by the Barack Obama campaign as authentic is a photoshopped fake.
The image, purporting to come from the Hawaii Department of Health, has been the subject of intense skepticism in the blogosphere in the past two weeks.
It has become even more suspect with the revelation that variations of the certificate image were posted on the Photobucket image aggregation website -- including one listing the location of Obama's birth as Antarctica, one with the certificate supposedly issued by the government of North Korea, and another including a purported photo of baby Barack -- one of which has a "photo taken" time-stamp just two minutes before the article and accompanying image was posted on the left-wing Daily Kos blog.
That strongly suggests that Daily Kos obtained the image from Photobucket, not the State of Hawaii, the Obama family, or the Obama campaign. Photobucket is not known as a credible supplier of official vital records for any of the fifty states, and the liberties that other Photoshoppers took with the certificates confirms this.

Here’s another possibility ...
If his mother needed to reside in the U.S. for five years before his birth, did Hawaii “count” when it was a territory or only after it became a state in 1959?
Just curious ...
Perhaps this caper involves 2 theories floating around the Internet concerning Barry's birth: that he was not born in the US (and hence why he will not go to Iraq) AND that he is the Antichrist.
Maybe his mother is listed as a jackal on his official birth certificate. ;) /sarcasm off
You could not be more dead wrong! Obama has certified to the world that this is a genuine document. IF ANY, REPEAT, ANY INFORMATION on it has been altered, OR, the information is exactly what WOULD have printed on an official copy but THIS DOCUMENT IS NOT ONE, IT IS A MONSTER DECEIT/FRAUD!
It is the coverup that always brings people down.
OK I see at this address it has a better image.
Fixed it.

Exactly! You do get it.
Mine too. It’s photocopy of the original. I think my foot prints are on it too.
What he has is what you get that basically confirms that you were born in the place you say you were so you can get a passport.
I suspect that he was born in Kenya and obtained a birth certificate when he was brought to the USA.
Alot of people are surmising that he may or may NOT be a natural born citizen. I would say it’s debatable, but from what I’m seeing for 1961, the mother would have had to reside in the USA a certain length of time and over the age of 14 or 15. I don’t have that in front of me.
This is going to get ugly real fast, I can feel it. The first time he’s asked will really be the key on where it goes. And if he lies, (actually he did lie as his autobio says he was born here, the media will zero in on him.
I think the posturing the past few days is in anticipation of this, as he will say that they are attacking him because he’s black.
This could be fastest freefall since Tom Eggleton.

Someone please, please, please tell me where I can find these. I need a good laugh today.
Actually Obama’s name will be on the ballot. Once the popular vote is certified in each State the candidate with the majority vote wins the electors in the State. The candidates name is on the ballot his name just represents the electors.
This (his mother’s length of residency in the U.S) is relevant only if he was born not in Hawaii but outside of the U.S.
You’re right and that was frankly wrong, and afterwards he was a shoe in for the Senate.
I say that we all need to send this to the various news outlets. I’ve sent this to Daily Kos, Hillary, Michelle Malkin, Geraghty of RRO, Hannity, and the RNC. Thus far no response except from Geraghty who said he didn’t have time to follow it, but didn’t think it would effect his eligibility.
To play devil’s advocate, it might be that the official stamp was photoshopped out of the released version of the document because of some regulation against reproducing the seal.
It would rank as one of my ten top wishes in life if BOTH O-scum-a and McManiac were disqualified. Maybe even top five.
According to what I have read, his parents were not "legally" married as his father was still married to his first wife (who was in Kenya) when he married Obama's mother. However, that isn't really relevant to the question of his eligibility.
I can feel it, something is up. I think this will be equal to or surpass Rather Gate and Kerry Swiftboats.
I predict that an enterprising reporter will confront him on this and he will duck it.
Who am I to doubt The Great Shermy?
That's certainly a plausible explanation.
Some clerk made it, passed it to the Obama people.
More plausible, though, if the clerk passed it to the Kos people.
Wouldn't the Obama people have the good sense to ask for a certified copy, so that there was no question about its authenticity?
Indeed, that's the only suspicious aspect of this affair. At this stage, what's their reason for not producing a certified copy?
Not quite sure how to break this to you, but you don't need a visa or a passport to go to Hawaii. Not now. Not in 1961.
Either the original poster conveyed his point poorly or you misread his point.
If Stanley Ann Dunham's passport records show her out of the country at the time of Barack's birth she could not have been in Hawaii. That I believe is what the poster was attempting to say.
Thanks for the compliment. I’ll see what I can find .
