If we all do our part to educate others about the true nature of the charlatain, Obama, and motivate those we influence to do the same, and so on, and so forth...then such a landslide is possibe.
But it is going to take a LOT of hard work, and prayer for God's helping Hand

I've always though McLame would win this thing. I pay no attention to polls, but my gut feeling is that when people are voting, they will vote for McLame, no matter how they usually vote.
There is just too much scary stuff about Hussein out there in the public view. Even with our very slanted mainstream media, I think folks are hearing a lot of really bad stuff about this "messiah".
God knows, I hope I'm right about this!

All McCain needs to do is suck it in and git 'er done. He'll have his landslide.
To: smoothsailing
So all McCain needs to do is wholeheartedly take a rational, coherent position on developing the required energy infrastructure necessary to further develop the economic well-being of the country? And in a 2-for-1 happenstance, it would attract conservative voters, and pi- uh... honk off Dims and environmental twits?'
So, he's got no chance, in other words!
To: smoothsailing
I'll be voting for McCain (but not smiling). And I see a McCain landslide as a real possibility.
McCain is better than Obama, no question. But a McCain landslide will be very bad for the GOP. That's not the direction the party should move -- but it will take us years to recover from a landslide.

Good read, guys.

Yes. I see you have fastened on the exact same phrase that I did: “in the unlikely event the Arizona senator has the wit to heed them.”
Maybe he will. If he doesn’t do a few flip flops on some basic issues, he will find himself on the opposite side from his own base, as well as all those SUV-driving soccer moms. No one minds a flip flop by someone WHO REALIZES HE WAS WRONG AND ADMITS IT.

This bears repeating: the ONLY thing ANWR is any sort of a “sanctuary(TM)” for is mosquitoes. The place needs DDT in massive quantities.

People vote their pocketbook.
$4.00 + gasoline hits everyone, including liberals.
The Dems are too stubborn and immune from logic to catch on, plus they never learn from their mistakes..they just keep making them worse.
Obama, campaigning for Jimmy Carter's second term is a huge loser.

Amen! I hope he does get this. I am sure he is being told.

“So go to ANWR, Mr. McCain. Embrace Sarah Palin there. You’ll have to eat some crow. But crow doesn’t taste so bad if it’s served on the White House china.”
Ping!

I would prefer to recover from a McCain landslide,
than try to have to survive an Obama mandate.

".... Blade"...
Is this a gay publication? Is this meant to be a funny?
To: smoothsailing
No way. The gas prices happened during Bush’s presidency, and that’s the way the libs will see it.
To them McCain is Bush redux.
To: smoothsailing
A landslide may be overstating it a bit but I do think and hope he’ll beat Nobama, if he doesn’t our military is in real trouble.
