This bears repeating: the ONLY thing ANWR is any sort of a “sanctuary(TM)” for is mosquitoes. The place needs DDT in massive quantities.

The mosquito's in Alaska are so big that when I was there we called them B-29’s...err that was a long time ago.

There isn't nothing in Anwar to really look at.

At 70 below it is hard to tell if it is pristine or not.
