Thousands of primary pupils were prevented from making Father's Day cards at school for fear of embarrassing classmates who live with single mothers and lesbians.
The politically correct policy was quietly adopted at schools "in the interests of sensitivity" over the growing number of lone-parent and same-sex households.

The Scolding Socialist Schoolmarms and Lesbo-Feminist Liberal Lefties and the Harping Homosexualist He-males have well-and-truly taken over.
Wanna know what that’s like? For the last nine years Helen Clark’s Labor party have governed New Zealand, with dumb-assical outcomes similar to this one from Scotland becoming the Norm.
I fear that if Obama becomes your next President, this is the nature of the “hope and change” that he will bring to your once-Great Nation. It will well-nigh ruin you.
This year we in New Zealand get to throw off they tyranny of the Helen Clark Labor government — if enough of us get our act together. It is by no means a certain thing.
Once the Do-Gooders are in, it is like excising a fast-spreading cancer to get them out.
Fear this!
What about banning Mother’s day cards, too, since some children’s mothers may have died or gone missing? What about children who have lost both parents to death and are being raised by cruel and abusive aunts and uncles?
Oh, wait. That was Harry Potter.
For a class size of 23 there's a 50% chance that two will have the same birthday. Sounds strange, but true, it's called the birthday paradox. Anyway, I have heard of schools here not doing birthdays since it means kids with birthdays in the summer will never get to have a birthday celebration at school.
I always thought that the Scots had cajones under those kilts. Wrong again!
In Brave New World the words father and mother were OBSCENITIES, not to be used in public or private conversations......
That’s so gay.
Seems they got it all backwards.
They have a problem of too many single parent households — the solution is to encourage Father’s Day.
If they think this generation is difficult to teach just wait until society collapses completely — we are getting very close.
Do you think that they don’t want to influence those teenagers with becoming Fathers???? lol.
So I guess they need to make a generic parents day, and get rid of both fathers and mothers day.
Actually many countries have Parent’s Day but they also have Children’s Day. As a kid, I always wanted that day...lol.
There are lesbians out there who could pass for fathers due to being so butch...
And tomorrow the headline should be:
“10 WAYS TO DISPOSE OF YOUR GOLD-DIGGING WIFE’S BODY
IN THE MOJAVE DESERT WITHOUT GETTING CAUGHT BY THE POLICE.”
That would be a hoot!
Soon to be replaced by “Baby Daddy” cards here as well.
My son has an August 9th birthday.
In his school (pre-school and kindergarten) they celebrated his, and the other summer birthdays, with parties during the last week of the school year.
Liberal leftists are foisting upon us all their version of Brave New World.
No doubt any more. Thinking like a leftist means that one has lost one’s mind.
The traditional organisation of a Free Society has several institutions that exist apart from the State, and which wield their own power in a way not traditionally "controlled" by the State. These institutions are: 1)Marriage, 2)the Family (including the extended family Houses of the Medieval period), 3) the Marketplace, 4) the Church
The Free Market is what people do, naturally, in the pursuit of making a living and pursuing happiness. Capitalism is not an artificial ideology and it does not need state coercion to exist or to function successfully. It is simply the name we give for what people do naturally---they trade with one another. Free Markets can run a nation's economy efficiently and with little government regulation. Free Markets are, largely, beyond the direct control of government apparatus, although as we all know, laws can be written to change that.
The Church has traditionally been a "co-equal" social organising force with government, with it's own jurisdiction and even it's own courts. Despite the blather about "Seperation of Church and State", modern history is a one way street with government increasingly encroaching on Church perogatives and jurisdiction. One of the main areas of Church jurisdiction which has been hijacked by government is the afore-said institutions of Marriage. Marriage was traditionally, and originally, a strictly church affair. But then government butted in and started taking over the territory: To wit, government started licensing marriage, doing it's own marriages, and taking upon itself to issue divorces, not only for it's own marriages but those done by the churches as well.
Family, as a social institution, existed before the church. Indeed, the Family Clan existed as the first form of local government. Extended family tended to live in close geographical proximity, raised it's own militia in times of invasion, and even had it's own flag (family coat of arms). Charity, or what is now called "health and human services", was administered almost exclusively by the family clan, or your family House, in Renaissance times. The State didn't get involved in the social welfare business at all, leaving elder care, child care, and education to the Family, and to those in need of extra assistance, charity (that's what it is rightly called, not the "entitlements" of today) was handled by the Church.
Now back to our Modern Leftists: They cannot tolerate families taking care of things like elder care, child care, and education. This creates a separate power base, and separate alleigances to a competing institution (the family) in competition with THEIR State. Can't have that! Thus, the "Progressive" a.k.a. fascist State has not only gotten involved in these areas of human life, they have set up monopolies that have shoved aside the role of the family or the Church. All power is resevered to the State, and all are dependent on the State.
Because an intact, and wealthy family can compete with the Leftist's State for the alleigence of the individual, the Leftists are very specific about destroying the Family as a social institution. First and foremost, the Leftist wants a very high tax burden on the family, especially estate taxes. Once the State can prevent the family from accumulating wealth, the family's power over it's own members is greatly diminished, and the individual becomes more and more dependent on the State.
Thus, the State WANTS to subsidize births out of wedlock. You create a generation of children (larger and larger every year) that already have a broken family that cannot compete for the Child's loyalty against the State. Further, the family, such as it is, is financially dependent on the State---for food, clothing, housing, education, and medical care. And once you are dependent on the government for all these things, the State OWNS YOU. Your life is controlled by the State, run by the State. You are a cipher of the State.
Think about this: What better way to ensure that a people NEVER ever challenge or criticize their government than to control their access to healthcare? What greater threat to free speech can there be than when the government decides who will live and who will die?
Thus the State takes away the power of the family to control the morality of it's members. The State says to girls: "Be as ammoral and promiscuious as you want to be. We will fund your lifestyle and protect you from all the traditional social stigmas. All you have to do is incubate the next generation of slaves to the State." And slaves your children will be, such will be their dependency on the State.
So, State Schools denigrating and denying Fathers, and Fatherhood, should be seen for what it truly is: Just another small facet in the concious, planned campaign by the Fascist Left to destroy the family and make us all dependent (a.k.a. slaves) to their all powerful State.
They could use another Viking invasion or two, but the homeland of the Vikings is in no better shape.
Sorry. I've had my head buried in my cubicle. Did I miss the invention of immaculate conception?
Minnesota and look who they've been electing.
I remember feeling really bad for friends of my nephew during the ‘Mother’s Day’ making of cards, crepe paper corsages etc. Their mom walked out and left them, they never see her. The youngest was confused as to when he was supposed to give it to her and cried in class. When my oldest was in kindergarten, one of his friends told me during the Mother’s Day ‘tea’ that he was glad they got out of school before Father’s Day, since his dad never came to see him anymore. He just said if he made a card, it would make him feel bad since he didn’t know how to give it to his dad.
