Shimaa Abdelfadeel, the other woman allegedly excluded by the Obama campaign, was chair of SAFE, a University of Michigan-Ann Arbor group that hosted the 2002 Divestment Conference against Israel at which "Annihilate the Jews!" was chanted and Islamic Jihad founder Sami Al-Arian was keynote speaker. She's the author of vehement anti-Israel propaganda.
—OH, goodie. More campaign fun! watch him snark his way out of this one.......
Both of these people sound like they are part of Senator Obamaâs base. too bad the Senator’s staff was not more sensitive to the multi-cultural diversity involved here.
All orchestrated to show that B. HUSSEIN isn’t sympathetic to Muslims. He wasn’t snubbing them. He was pretending to snub them to reassure the common folk that he’s not a closet Muslim.
And now it begins ... no doubt he’ll play the a)race card b) the religion card or c)I’m a patriot too card.
I guess security let this guy slip through.
HA! Muzzies playing the “racea” or “religion card”. Turnabout is fair play.
Obama Reassures Muslim Supporters
Presidential contender Senator Obama moved quickly to reassure his Muslim supporters that the apparent discrimination that occurred at two of his speeches in Michigan was merely cosmetic and should not be taken as a sign that I do not appreciate the value of their support.
The charges of discrimination were leveled by the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC) after Obama campaign workers barred two Muslim women from sitting behind the podium because they did not want the women’s headscarves to be seen in photographs or on television. The women were reportedly told they couldnt sit behind the podium unless they removed their scarves.
ADC President Mary Rose Oakar and ADC National Executive Director Kareem Shora called the incident disturbing. The wearing of the hijab is a symbol of feminine modesty and religious piety, Shora declared. We should be working toward a world where all women are as pure and devout as Muslim women, not shunting these exemplars off into the shadows.
Senator Obama avowed that he understood their concern, but asked that they please be patient. There will be a proper time and place for such displays after I am president. Right now, it is important that we exercise restraint lest we convey an impression that might strike an alien and unpleasant chord with the American voter.

Don't worry Hebba, Barack won't go back to Detroit after this....... imagine what would happen if 500 women dressed in Muslim head gear request to be seated behind him?!? Ain't gonna happen.
‘please be patient. There will be a proper time and place for such displays after I am president. Right now, it is important that we exercise restraint lest we convey an impression that might strike an alien and unpleasant chord with the American voter.’
Translation: “When I become president, the White House will be open to everyone, especially Muslim women wearing face and head covers. For now, though, let’s try not to do anything drastic that might alienate my white supporters.”
Rhetorical question, I assume. We can pretty much guess what will happen.
From Obama’s book “Audacity of Hope” in his own words:
“I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.”
The Muzzie that dares not show his turban!
