Democratic presidential contender Barack Obama said on Friday he expects Republicans to highlight the fact that he is black as part of an effort to make voters afraid of him.

In March he gave a widely praised speech on the subject after receiving criticism over racially charged comments by his longtime pastor. Obama, who faces Republican John McCain in the November election, would be the first black U.S. president.

And when we talk about his non-plans on energy and oil, he’ll call race. And when we talk about his raising taxes, he’ll call race. And so on and so on.

Oh yeah, and McCain will say squat. Just stand up there with his blonde mistress bimbette.

Sorry, BO. The GOP has supported any number of black conservatives and RINOs for high office, and was ready to get behind the very popular Colin Powell for president in 1996. Unlike you, we aren’t obsessed with race or skin color.

We need to first ask Democrat Sen. Byrd how to be good little racists and then dress for success.

We all have different definitions for the word “conservative”, but to me, a true conservative could never vote for McCain...but that’s maybe just me.

From The Article: “Barack Obama said on Friday he expects Republicans to highlight the fact that he is black as part of an effort to make voters afraid of him.”

I think we should “highlight” the video at the link below! If you have not seen it, you should! It takes a minute to load and is about 45 minutes long. I for one believe that Larry Sinclair is telling the truth. Decide for yourself!

Here we go. And Drive Bys are going to pull out all the stops to help him label anyone that disagrees with him as a Racist. You oppose him on energy policy, you’re a racist. You oppose him on taxes, your’re a racist.

Trouble is McCain and the GOP don’t have the balls to go on offense about this strategy of Obamas and call him out on it.

If he weren’t black, he would still be in Illinois.

Did McCain even bother to get out of bed today? He never responds to anything and I hardly ever hear from him. If i were him i would be all over the place talking about how Obama is a racist and plaing the race card.

Barry you are not black but rather a biracial Kenyan. You used your Mulatto coloring to steal the designated affirmative action slots of Columbia and Harvard. These should have gone to real blacks that were descendants of slavery not the descendant of slave traders. You use your half blackness to get all the black vote and to get the guilty white vote. There are far more guilty whites than racist whites and you know it.

The thing is he isn't even half black more like 6+% not enough to even legally qualify as black. You need to be at least 12 something % to be black. Of course many think that if you have even 1 drop you qualify as black. (shakes head in disbelief)

Granted, but IMNSHO, a TRUE American couldn't vote for BO. He can't even be considered an ‘empty suit’
The movie “A Face in the Crowd” comes to mind but I already used that one for the Clintons so I guess I would be plagiarizing myself

If Jack Ryan's divorce records hadn't been suspiciously exposed, he wouldn't be in Illinois either.

Obama says Republicans will use race to stoke fear

I might be inclined to use something else...

Obama: Man of the World
By NICHOLAS D. KRISTOF
Published: March 6, 2007

Mr. Obama recalled the opening lines of the Arabic call to
prayer, reciting them with a first-rate accent. In a remark that
seemed delightfully uncalculated [...], Mr. Obama described the
call to prayer as "one of the prettiest sounds on Earth at
sunset."

Highlight it? Do we have to TELL people that Obama is black before they realize it?

Don’t worry, McCain will say something to piss off the conservative base to counter.
