CHICAGO, Illinois (CNN) Presumptive Democratic nominee Barack Obama sat down in Chicago Friday morning to discuss the economy with visiting Democratic governors, but all eyes were on the Illinois senators podium bearing, what might be described as, a quasi-presidential seal a new Obama campaign logo.
The seal includes the same bald eagle as the actual presidential seal clutching an olive branch and arrows in its talons, but instead of a shield covering the center of the eagles body, the Obama version displays the campaigns trademark O. Unlike the Presidential seal, which includes the words Seal of the President of the United States around the circumference, Obama for America and www.barackobama.com grace the top and bottom of Obama's.
Finally, just above the eagle, in Latin, are the words vero possumus which translates to yes we can, the oft-heard chant at Obama rallies. It remains to be seen how the new seal will play in the campaigns quest to win over working-class voters.

It's clear to me that he's guilty, too.
Fits to a T.

Works for me.
I'm not seeing any difference between that and the language of the statute.
Mislead=convey a false impression
accept him as President=sponsorship or approval by the Government of the United States.
What better sponsorship or approval is there by the government of the U.S. than to stand behind a Presidential seal and project the impression that you're President?
In Possumus Veritas.
An image of a dead albatross, rather than an eagle, would be more appropriate. Then Obama can wear his seal on a chain around his neck.
If he’s elected, I’m afraid we’re the ones that will have an albatross around our necks.
A seal is actually a real meta narrative. Obama has re-written the presidential meta-narrative and working for approval in the form of an election. That’s what this is all about. The problem is that Obama isn’t telling the truth to the foolish American voters about what his vision of change is all about.
Bob the Builder's filing a trademark infringement suit on Monday. Bob's owned the term "Yes We Can" for at least five years.
And Wendy's going to kick Michelle's a$$.
Yes.
At the same time Obama is the seal. Soros' trained seal.
Induction posters: "Uncle Wright wants you!"
Just an off-the-wall speculation. What if the original picture has been photoshopped and what we are looking at is a fraud?
I would say that the seal itself is UN blue.
Then a WHOLE lot of people, bloggers and press were fooled too.
Well, if he isn’t elected after a successful nomination, should that occur, he can always claim he already was the Grand Poo Bah. He sure acts like he already IS the actual President of the United States. Yet another August boy........
Uh uh uh. No no no. He just told the women in the black caucus that THEY need to “get over it.” (Black women who supported Hillary) This was posted elsewhere on FR today.
“Funny you should say that. I salute him everytime I see him...in my own special way.”
Get out of town! You copied that finger salute he gave Hillary? See?? You copied the O man.

“The GOP have got to get their act together there is a whole range of things to go after Obama and so far I have not seen anything by them”
Yes, but you forget that even the well-regarded-and-fair-minded-actual-democrat Tim Russert died of a heart attack in his office at NBC HQ. On a Friday afternoon.
He's just sooo dreamy and hip. Faint!

Clean up on aisle 9. Is there an EMT in the blog? Give tsmith130 some air, some air.
Oops. My bad. I think I heard that somewhere.
