And they say that reducing America’s dependence on foreign oil will take a lot more than more drilling offshore—it will require conservation, use of alternative fuels, and other steps.

Conservation like Al Gore practices?
Alternative Fuels like ethanol that have caused food shortages and not helped at all?
Other Steps like Nuclear Energy which is safe, efficient, and also shunned?

Let me get this straight, they want to rely on “alternative fuels” that mankind has been seeking for over 70 years, and there is still nothing in site. But oppose drilling because it will take 4 years to make a difference.
Is that about right?
