I don’t believe Americans would so easy part with their weapons. Love to see the Gov. try though.
Great video; very much worth watching.
The Brits woke up. About time - but now that The People surrendered, will they regain their freedom?
“When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty.”
Thomas Jefferson
The Brits deserve what they’re getting, though I strongly and deeply sympathize with their plight. The simple fact is that NO government, no matter how benign it appears on the surface, can be forced to do anything unless the governed have some means of compelling the desired action. The nature of government is to grow its power at the expense of the governed, and to never give back what it takes.
It is clear that the British government does not fear its people, so there is tyranny. All that the British Sheeple can do is bleat more often and more loudly for some of their privileges to be restored or partially restored. The Second Amendment was explicitly designed to make sure that such a situation never comes about here.
MOLON LABE!!
Video is slightly dated, but excellent (I believe Tony Martin was finally released from prison some time ago).
I promise you’ll never see me voluntarily turning over any of my guns to a government agent.

Whoopee...
This video makes you ask yourself, “What will I do when they come for my guns?”
Thomas Jefferson was truly a wise man....
The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect
themselves against tyranny in government.
— Thomas Jefferson
The beauty of the Second Amendment is that it will not be needed until they try to take it

What country can preserve its liberties if its rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the
spirit of resistance?
— Thomas Jefferson
Learn from the Brits mistakes, folks. In the words of the previous President of the NRA Charlton Heston, “I have only five words for you: ‘from my cold, dead, hands’”

Bump
The cops confiscated peoples guns in NO after Katrina. Not one gun was ‘pulled from cold, dead hands.’ When a couple of carloads of them show up at your door are you going down in a burst of flames or would you let them in?

AMERICA IN TWO YEARS.
"Did you really think we want those laws observed?" said Dr. Ferris. "We want them to be broken. You'd better get it straight that it's not a bunch of boy scouts you're up against... We're after power and we mean it... There's no way to rule innocent men. The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren't enough criminals one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws. Who wants a nation of law-abiding citizens? What's there in that for anyone? But just pass the kind of laws that can neither be observed nor enforced or objectively interpreted and you create a nation of law-breakers and then you cash in on guilt. Now that's the system, Mr. Reardon, that's the game, and once you understand it, you'll be much easier to deal with."
-- Ayn Rand - 'Atlas Shrugged' 1957"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny exercised for the 'common good' may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for 'our own good' will torment us without end, for they do so with the approval of their own conscience."
-- C. S. Lewis
