If McCain has an ounce of conservatism in him, he could hit this one out of the park.
He and my grandson have many ‘discussions’. One day I walked up to him talking to two other teachers about how my grandson did not want to face ‘facts’. One of the teachers commented that if it was about the War of 1812, that was a fact that could not be disputed. The conversation ended.

I guess I don’t believe “most”. I believe “some”, as in, “not enough”. But I tend to be optimistic. I don’t even think this could pass into law with Obama as Pres and a veto proof, filibuster proof Congress. I could be wrong.
I hope the Republicans follow Rush’s script and use this to win both Presidential and Congressional elections. I think we have about a 50-50 chance of winning the Presidency, although McCain may turn out to be a booby prize.

There are hundreds of wells in just some districts of Alberta and Alberta is huge. Now add in Saskatchewan, Manitoba......etc.
Plus the oil sands which are not drilled, but scooped and sucked. Canada's known reserves are larger than Saudi reserves and there are millions of sq miles of Canada where no testing has been done. I know of an large area of Canada where some pro's believe there is more oil than anywhere else on earth. The exploration is about to get under way. Virgin territory with new exploration technology. You will read about it next spring.

Even with issues handmade for exploitation by conservatives, the stupid party has nominated a man who was a part of the problem and therefore has more or less insulated the socialist democrats from damage no matter their radical communist proposals. Who could believe McCain in his new forced conversion to a conservative philosophy.
