That’s an unsigned blog-type, thing that isn’t a news report, to me. And it has one guy saying “nationalize” the industry.
I don’t think this is what you billed it as, unfortunately. When we have a proper news article with attributions, I’ll be more pleased. Thanks for confirming what I had thought — that you meant this particular thing. But it’s still so raw that I see as something not really worth making definitive statements or having definitive fits about quite yet. How do we know it isn’t just Hinchey or whatever his name was?
This will help. Run the refineries like we run the post office.

If this is even introduced it ought to be enough to make every red blooded American want to march on Washington and hang the whole lot of them. Right on the Mall!
There are probably a lot of oil companies that would welcome this. Let the government take my refinery, and pay me “just compensation” as required by the Constitution, and then all of the headaches of running a refinery belong to Congress. I sure hope they can explain to the American people why gasoline is $4.50 a gallon, given that there is clearly a conspiracy among the members of Congress in running these refineries.

Beautiful. This is America in 2008. A mainstream political party is calling for the seizure of corporate assets for political purposes. Maybe we can throw the old owners in jail like Putin. who is John Galt again?
