POLL: Obama's lead slipping in Minnesota (Obama 47% McCain 46%)

New poll numbers show Barack Obama’s lead over Johon McCain slipping among Minnesota voters.

The exclusive 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS/SURVEY USA Poll shows Obama holding a one-point lead over McCain, with the margin of error at a statistical dead heat Tuesday.

Just two weeks ago, Obama held a five-point lead in Minnesota.

Nationally, it’s a slightly different story: A new ABC News poll has Obama ahead of McCain 48 to 42-percent.

Obama’s lead is down a percentage point from one month ago.

People in MN may not vote for Obama, but they will never tell that to a pollster.

Exactly. I think the “Wilder Effect” is in full play. This small of a lead in a state like Minnesota? He’s in deep doo.

The longer the public has to pick at that scab called Obama - the more he will bleed...

There is NOTHING commendable or admirable in that empty suit called Obama.....
He has clearly set the record for the Peter Principal by an Affirmative Action candidate.

He’s become the poster child of a lying Marxist sock puppet, no talent beyond reading script with the fake accent and rhythm of a black shyster preacher man....

I believe Obama will lose. McCain is not a great candidate or an inspirational leader, but the more people learn about Obama the worse it will get for him. He has nothing, just recycled socialist policies that represents the hard left.

Much of Obama’s support will evaporate days before the general election. The media will carry all of his water, but with each new crisis this country faces, Obama will look weaker and weaker.

...but the more people learn about Obama the worse it will get for him...

You mean like his background, his friends, his financial supporters, his views, his visions, his gaffes, his flip-flops, his hypocrisy, his denials, his voting record....for starters...

Just a blip, I’m sure. If anybody thinks Obama won’t win Minnesota, you need to put down the pipe. He could engineer the most colossal collapse in history, lose by 10% nationally, and still carry Minnesota. We always hear how Minnesota is in play. It isn’t. And won’t be for a long, long time.

If Obama can’t carry Minnesota, he’s gonna lose Wisconsin and Michigan.

I absolutely agree with this.

I know that he was the media’s little darling, but I still do not understand what these people who want to vote for him are looking at!

He doesn’t have a plan on one single issue, not one! and still people plan to vote for him... unbelievable!

Why do you think Obama’s support is dropping in MN? Is it because people are starting to know more about Obama?

To find out how well somebody is going to do nationally, you should drive through the outskirts of either city. If you see at least a handful of Republican signs, then it’s bad news for the other candidate. So far, I’ve seen extreme South Minneapolis full of McCain signs. Obama’s in deep over his head.

I viewed the “complete breakdown” of the poll. Some surprises there. The biggest surprise: Voters over 50 going for Obama pretty substantially. Whassup with that?

If Gov. Pawlenty is on the Ticket with McCain, could MN go Republican this time or no?

Unfortunately you are full of crap.

There are no good or bad choices save for alternatives.

“If I can't have a Cadillac I don't care if I get a Chevy or a bullet to the head.”

That is the essence of the anti-McCain Freeper.

Way past retarded.
