What is a person to do? I having been perusing the various postings about events in the world from oil to politics to global warming to elections to etc., etc., etc.

I am going crazy. The massive amounts of stupidity being exhibited by the vast majority of people in the world is beginning to drive me out of my mind.

The only solution I can think of is to quit reading the newspapers, watching tv, and giving up forums such as Free Republic.

Where has the intelligence gone or are we actually witnessing the coming of the Messiah AKA Aliboma?

Please keep in mind that most politicians and reporters are idiots. Being leftists will make many of them even stupider, but most are just plain dumb to begin with. Do you think a newspaper reporter or a politician can really understand science, etc?

And don't think for a second republican or conservative politicians are any smarter. They are just the stopped clocks that tell you what you want to hear most of the time as opposed to once a day.

A very smart man told me, before he passed away, that America is not producing the smart people in the world today.

You have to remain aware of basics to tend to your finances, and prepare for events.

I stopped watching television long ago - it's the principle cause of insanity in our society, it's literally making people crazy. I only watch DVD movies I choose to watch.

I limit my 'consumption' to FR, michellemalkin.com, and daybydaycartoon.com.

Otherwise I'd go nuts too.

I know whatcha mean. I had to stop reading FR so much. I only turn my computer on once or twice a week these days. I get so angry and I’m tired of spending my days and (sleepless) nights being po’d.

The intelligent seem to be outnumbered by the politically correct, commie, socialist, lead-me-around-by-my-nose, can’t-form-a-logical-thought, indifferent, and outright stupid who show up at the polls to vote.

We’re in a no-win situation.
