E.D. Hill and her show, "America's Pulse" has been removed from her time slot at Fox, because of something she said in her news presentation . On June 6th last, on her former program, "America's Pulse," E.D. Hill teased in a segment about body-language about Obama's fist bump with his wife Michelle.
Obama supporters and the leftist blogs on the web were in a rage and an uproar about the comments, and George Soros' "Media Matters" began a campaign encouraging people to contact Fox and complaint about what is in their view an unforgivable slight of Obama and Michelle.
They called for E.D. Hill's resignation.

Fox and O'Reilly agreed that she was out of line,.typical of moderate O'Reilly who has stated many times he is not a Republilcan or a Democrat
She apologized for her comments, which apparently that didn't even help the situation . She was taken off her show at Fox. Fox caved in to the opposition, (Obama and Mediai Matters, MSNBC, and CNN's ) demands and Fox quietly cancelled E.D.'s show, "America's Pulse," chastised her, and relegated her elsewhere for the time being.
Huffington is thrileld and posted about all of this with glee.
E.D. HIll was great and full of life and even though I seldom got to see her show, I used to watch her on the morning show she did before she got her show "America's Pulse".
If you have seen her show and wondered where she is and would like to send an email about all of this the information is listed below.

well I remember reading it in a TV column a few weeks ago. Sorry I couldn’t find it.
I’m quite sure ED wasn’t taken off for the terrorist jab thing though.
All Fox on air staff have a shelf life. She has been on continuously for years. It will be good for her to take a breather and come back.
Allison Camerotta is great for the first hour, then Gretchen comes in and spoils the fun.
Allison is like a female version of Brian K. Very quick and funny sense of humor.
O’Nasty is the one who should be replaced w/Neil Cavuto—leave ED Hill alone!
Olbermann, the terrorist lover, keeps ranting about O’Reilly because O’Reilly creams Olbermann in the ratings every single night, by a huge margin. And its not gonna change.
In that case this tread is bogus dude.
Once in a while Gretchen will come out with a good slam...she put Lanny Davis in his place a few weeks ago.
‘...The show is unwatchable.’
agree. I watch Fox & Friends every morning cause I like Steve Doocy....he’s smart, witty and seems like a patriot who appreciates the President. E.D., Steve and Brian were a terrific team....they shouldn’t have changed.
But, I CANNOT watch the week-end show....they’ve tried several different people but just doesn’t work....the show is REALLY awful.

I like Gretchen Carlson
agree....Allison is terrific. IF they had to replace E.D., Allison should have taken the spot. She works great with Steve and Brian.
Gretchen can not start a sentence without the word I !
ED is great and maybe this story is just smoke and mirrors. When I have the chance to catch morning news, though, it’s Robin Meade (on CNN) for me. Some things are more important than politics (like eye candy).

In the past two weeks, Fox anchor E.D. Hill -- formerly Edye Tarbox when she worked at WPXI -- has apologized for referring to an affectionate onstage fist bump shared by the couple as a "terrorist fist jab," and Fox contributor Liz Trotta said she was sorry for joking about an Obama assassination. Bill Shine, senior vice president of programming at Fox, said in a statement that a producer "exercised poor judgment" during the segment. The producer was not fired; no other disciplinary action was announced. Hill's "terrorist fist jab" comment came in a tease to a segment on the candidates' body language, and it wasn't repeated during the subsequent interview. She told Fox it was taken from something she had read online.
No matter: "terrorist fist jab" quickly became an online sensation. Hill apologized on-air four days after she said it. Hill said some people "thought I had personally characterized it inappropriately. I regret that. It was not my intention and I certainly did not mean to associate the word 'terrorist' in any way with Sen. Obama and his wife."
Fox subsequently canceled Hill's weekday afternoon program as part of a larger reorganization. She remains on staff.
Megan by herself would be good in the 9 am show. I can't take Bill. Same with the guy that they put on with Jane Skinner. Both these Ladies would shine without the male counter parts. Just my observations.
Like I said somewhere up this thread -— Fox should just run re-runs of Gilligans Island on the weekends. The weekend show is a dud!
sometimes it does seem like Brian is going easy on Obama which is surprising. Also, seems that he and Gretchen get a bit too ‘cutesy’ with each other. I’ve adapted to Gretchen but the team was better with E.D..
Hannity, God bless him, is still ripping up Obama.
