Allison Camerotta is great for the first hour, then Gretchen comes in and spoils the fun.

Allison is like a female version of Brian K. Very quick and funny sense of humor.

Once in a while Gretchen will come out with a good slam...she put Lanny Davis in his place a few weeks ago.

agree....Allison is terrific. IF they had to replace E.D., Allison should have taken the spot. She works great with Steve and Brian.

Allison is a fluffy airhead and Gretchen Wyler merely looks cute. Her comments border on the idiotic.

Hill has brains and looks.

I totally agree with you. I like Allison, whereas Gretchen to me is dumb as a post and makes many really stupid comments each week. Plus, in actuality, the show is so silly now I can barely watch it. I find myself (horror of horrors) watching Morning Joe on MSNBC instead in the morning. More political analysis on Morning Joe, and a much broader sweep of topics. Plus I still like to watch Pat Buchanan on Morning Joe, in spite of a couple of his issues that I totally disagree with (his anti-Israel stance and his America First, never get involved in foreign wars stance, although lately, that second position has some merit). And I am driven to do this because Fox & Friends has gotten so dumbed down and trite that I can barely watch.

As to E.D. Hill, for some of the same reasons I have a hard time watching her too. I guess I have a woman’s body, but a man’s mind when it comes to politics. E.D.’s emphasis is too much on “women’s issues” and family stuff, and emphasizes raising kids and education, etc. All well and good, but I’m just not particularly interested in a show that narrows the discussion down to primarily family issue subjects. I suspect highly that her ratings were low and therefore she was on her way out. They gave her a chance at her own time slot at a later time than when she was on Fox and Friends (so she wouldn’t have to be up so early as she has a passle of kids), but I suspect she bombed in the ratings. Plus I think they wanted to find a slot for Heather Nauert, whom I believe has replaced E.D., at least for the time being. She was the one who was doubled with John Gibson toward the end of his show’s shelf life. They should have put Gibson on and dumped Nauert IMO, as she is no great improvement over E.D. I miss John Gibson greatly, and have no idea why they unloaded his program. He was number 1 in his time slot. Maybe ageism. Trying to keep Fox young and hip, disregarding the fact that probably most of the people who watch Fox are older. Stupid move on Fox’s part.

As to O’Reilly’s favorable comments about Obama, he is doing it because he has a fixation on getting Obama on his show, and doesn’t want to bad rap Obama in BOR’s attempt to get him on. If I were Obama, I wouldn’t go on BOR’s show until about September, so that BOR keeps kissing his *ss and saying nice things for as long as possible. And BOR will continue to do so. He did the same thing with Mrs. Clinton, kissing her derriere verbally until she came on his show. He wants them to think he won’t trash them when they get on, and he won’t. He just wants the ratings. That’s his number one criteria. And BOR is just playing into Obama’s hands and doesn’t realize it. Obama by not coming on BOR’s show is making sure BOR’s drivelling and drooling over Obama continues until BOR gets what he wants, which is Obama on his show. BOR has made his deal with the devil. BOR is being used and doesn’t seem to know it, hung on his own pecadillo, his overarching desire to catch a big fish for ratings even if it hobbles him from giving any objective opinion of a candidate’s issues and beliefs before an election.
