I understand how important Tim Russert was to NBC..............but Lord have Mercy, get over it. They were wall-to-wall all day yesterday, and now is ay 2 of the "Remeberance of Tim Russert"
I don't recall MSNBC giving 2 and tommorrow wil be 3 days to when the Pope died a few years ago, maybe I'm wrong. Does Tim Russert warrant as much coverage as the death of Ronald Reagan !!!!!!!!!!!!!
To: Gillmeister
As long as they focus on Tim Russert they aren’t telling lies about the US military and economy.

A media orgy, no doubt. No TV for me today. A very good reason to get some things done outside.

That's why the open is on all weekend.
BTW, how much sleep did Olberman get last night? Think he really thinks he'll get the chair. He's dumb enough to think he could do it.

I concur. This coverage is so over the top it is sickening. Tim was a man not a saint. Let him rest in peace and stop the fawning; it makes them all look absurd.

You’ve sure stuck a pin in the party doll now. Be prepared to be called “insensitive” and reminded that Freepers are more “compassionate” than that. I knew this was going to be way over done when I got home from work last night and saw that even Fox was doing none stop coverage. The TV Talking heads really do see themselves to be more important than the rest of us.

I understand how important Tim Russert was to NBC..............but Lord have Mercy, get over it. Agreed, I have never seen such over grandizing BS, over one news reader who will be meaningless in the larger scope of history.

Goebbels-quality, DNC propagandists are rare... Russert was one the best. The socialist juggernaut staggers momentarily...

The media whores participate in this Princess Diana orgy because they all secretly hope they'll get the same coverage when they slither off this mortal coil.

The MSM regards themselves as little ‘gods’.
America recognizes them as the traitors which they are.

Of course not. They barely mention a hero like Charlton Heston and give puke liberal reporters gala hero status and wall to wall coverage. Will we have his funeral services live on NBC, with live grave side coverage? Maybe have his casket carried by the 6 or 8 horse carriage with the lone horse with boots in stirrups backwards? Who knows. By this time next week, he will be forgotten, as the left moves on to worship Obama.

Will CBS use the NBC coverage as a template for when Walter Cronkite, Dan Rather or Katy Couric buy the farm?
Let’s hope not.
To: Gillmeister
It sounds like they are using his carcass to inflate their own status.
I would like to know if there is going to be an autopsy for drugs considering how prevalent a problem drugs are to that industry and his past erratic behavior on the air like versus Huckabee during the debates.
At any rate, God rest his soul.

A) A private media business can broadcast whatever it wants
as long as it is lawful.
B) A private citizen can choose to watch/not watch the broadcast.
C) Whining and comparing this broadcast to others diminishes
the imaginary boundaries of freedom of expression.

Wow, your use of the english language really impresses me. I am in awe of your grammar.
You intimidate me.
To: Gillmeister
English is my second language, sorry if I offended you with my mediocre grammar. I’m sure your knowledge of other language exceeds my knowledge of yours.
