Barack Obama said Thursday at a fundraiser in Chicago that the GOP is trying to make him and his wife Michelle appear "scary" and "too black."
"They’re going to try to make me into a scary guy. They’re even trying to make Michelle into a scary person. Right?" Obama said at an event in the Hyde Park area, according to CNN.
Obama said Republicans were trying to start a drumbeat questioning Obama's patriotism and whether he is "too black."
"I don’t know, before I wasn’t black enough," Obama said. The Illinois senator then suggested Republicans might say, "'now he might be too black.'"
(I would have put up a Chinese flag, but they're too capitalist for the Obamanation.)
As for black, if Dr. Sowell were to run for president I would take a vacation from my job to help him get elected - something I wouldn't do for any of the white Republicans I've seen recently.
