Obama: GOP Trying to Paint Me & Michelle as 'Too Black'

Barack Obama said Thursday at a fundraiser in Chicago that the GOP is trying to make him and his wife Michelle appear "scary" and "too black."

"They’re going to try to make me into a scary guy. They’re even trying to make Michelle into a scary person. Right?" Obama said at an event in the Hyde Park area, according to CNN.

Obama said Republicans were trying to start a drumbeat questioning Obama's patriotism and whether he is "too black."

"I don’t know, before I wasn’t black enough," Obama said. The Illinois senator then suggested Republicans might say, "'now he might be too black.'"

Personally I think that most people will think he’s too green.

This from Obama, a man disgusted by his own white ancestory to the point that he shunned it and even lashed out at a black friend of his who was dating a white woman.

He has been courting the black supremacist vote. Now he wants to be a uniter again.

His mentor of 20 years has said that Obama will have to downplay some of his relations with the community to win.

He’ll get a pass from his rabid supporters.
