Interesting.

But I’m not sure I trust a photo of a birth certificate, posted on Daily Kos. Much too easy to counterfeit it.

If this is real, then how come Obama refuses to release his records to other legitimate press representatives? Daily Kos says that the Obama campaign provided this evidence. Do we believe Daily Kos? Do we trust some unnamed person working for Obama?

Maybe I’m being paranoid, but this reminds me of the way that kerry “released” his form 180 to friendly reporters, who then proceeded to cover up what it actually says.

Yes, where’s the seal?

Yeah, states usually stamp their seal when they issue a birth certificate. I don't see any indication of a stamp.

Same here when I needed mine from Ohio, although that was years ago.

Interesting that the document lists his father’s “race” as “African”. To me, “African” is a nationality just like the terms “American”. “French” or “British.” How was race described in 1961?

The only reason I can think of for the Obama campaign to release this via Kos is to provide plausible deniability in case a different original surfaces.

Wonder why they blacked out the Certificate Number?

This birth certificate is fake but accurate.

Faxed from a Kinko's in Abilene, Texas.

Last year, I had to order birth certificates from Texas for two of my children. They were brand-new documents, not copies of early-90’s documents.

We had to do the same for our daughter when she went to study overseas a couple of years ago. We actually lost the original, and got a copy from the Texas Dept of Health. That was NOT good enough for her to get a passport. It had to be a certified copy from the state.

The wife had to do the same for her passport when she went on a cruise last year. She had to get hers from New York.

Ok, so this should put to rest any question about his citizenship.

And I bet it had a raised seal stamped into it, unlike this one.

Since this is a new print from computer records, someone may have done a global replace changing all references of Negro or Colored or Black to African in the database.

In gold foil, and they charged us $32 apiece! However, the state seal is at the top of the Hawaii document shown, and it looks to me like it’s embossed, although not gold-foiled.

Yeah—her father wanted a boy. Named her after himself.

Screwed-up family? Yes!

I guess Stanley Jr. was never really wanted and that’s why she went about whoring and having sex with older men.

Africa is a continent, not a nation. So it does seem a bit odd.

Isn’t there a FReeper in Oahu who can compare the documents and verify these issues?

Good luck trying to get a Social Security card with that! They require an official birth certificate - with the raised seal.

If that is Social Security’s requirement, do the American people deserve less?

And that name, repeat it loud and often.
