Interesting.

But I’m not sure I trust a photo of a birth certificate, posted on Daily Kos. Much too easy to counterfeit it.

If this is real, then how come Obama refuses to release his records to other legitimate press representatives? Daily Kos says that the Obama campaign provided this evidence. Do we believe Daily Kos? Do we trust some unnamed person working for Obama?

Maybe I’m being paranoid, but this reminds me of the way that kerry “released” his form 180 to friendly reporters, who then proceeded to cover up what it actually says.

Which legitimate pres representatives have requested a copy of Obama’s birth certificate? I haven’t seen anything about this anywhere but here and a couple internet blogs.

This kind of document could easily be faked on computer.

All you need is the right software and a good scanner.

Adobe Acrobat Professional has a setting where you can erase and re-type any text on a document very easily.......very easily.

I have done it. Not for illegal purposes, but I have altered and reproduced official documents for saving on the computer.

It is EXTREMELY easy.

However, I have a feeling this is not faked. It is now on the fight the smears site, albeit it is such a small image.

It seems to me this is legit, and he is a U.S. citizen.

We will have to beat him on other grounds, which may be easy, but I am not sure.

Frankly, I was shocked today when I heard his two proposals regarding taxes.

First: SENIORS WILL NOT PAY ANY INCOME TAXES.
Second: THE GOVT. DOES YOUR TAXES FOR YOU AND YOU THEN DISPUTE IT IF YOU DISAGREE.

These are innovative ideas. Do I agree with them......not the first one. I actually like the second one although I have a bit of an issue with it because government tries to screw you most of the time and I am worried about that. But, since there is no chance of real tax reform, that seems to be one of the best ideas coming out of anybody of late to try to make things easier on the taxpayer.

And that is the problem....he will win a lot of seniors who likely would have voted for McCain since he is an old fart himself. The other idea will win a lot of people.

The ideas I have seen McCain proposing so far are tired old ideas without anything innovative at all.

I am really concerned here about November.

Yeah, Obama has no experience. But, at least he is proposing some real ideas now unlike the primaries when he was all talk and no proposals!

McCain hasn’t really done anything unique yet. That is a real concern.
