Mr. Presidential Democratic Nominee Obama, fasten your seat bet. We're talking a bumpy ride. Scorched earth policy. Swift Boat time, The GOP's first salvo is a book. Already written by National Review's David Freddoso, whose playpen is politics. . . .
Publisher, Regnery. Ships to stores, July. On shelves, August. Price $37.95. Title, the longest in captivity: "Scorcher. The Case Against Barack Obama: The Unlikely Rise and Unexamined Agenda of the Media's Favorite Candidate."
The so-called scorching? . . .

I’ve never liked the “ -boating” accusations.
I miss the “ -gate” days.

The so-called scorching, as described by Cindy, sounds like everything we’ve been saying on FR. But there has to be more in the book than that, at 256 pages. One would hope there is newsworthy stuffs.
Oh, you mean someone’s going to tell the vicious truth about Obama like they did to Kerry? Boo-hoo!
I found the little item about Hillary! (more specifically Bill) very interesting.
While suturing a cut on the hand of a 75-year-old Texas rancher whose hand was caught in a gate while working cattle, the doctor struck up a conversation with the old man. Eventually the topic got around to Obama and his bid to be our President. The old rancher said, 'Well, ya know, Obama is a 'post turtle.' Not being familiar with the term, the doctor asked him what a 'post turtle' was. The old rancher said, 'When you're driving down a country road and you come across a fence post with a turtle balanced on top, that's a 'post turtle'. The old rancher saw a puzzled look on the doctor's face, so he continued to explain. 'You know he didn't get up there by himself, he doesn't belong up there, he doesn't know what to do while he is up there, and you just wonder what kind of a dumb ass put him up there in the first place.
Hanoi John has YET to prove ANYTHING they said was untrue. They were right. Hanoi John is wrong. Kerry lost and Gore STILL lost. Enough already! Grow up, "journalists"!
I did too. I picture Hillary sitting back for awhile and letting buyer remorse set in until mid-August at which time she’ll contact some of the superdelegates to see if some are ready to switch.
Yes, the whole column is good. Cindy’s a New York classic. Used to come to the Republican black-tie dinners.
Perfect.
LOL! Great Texas rancher story. I was playing poker last weekend and some of the guys wanted to talk politics — which is a great way to ruin a poker game, IMO. Anyway, one real old guy says “Obama can never get elected. There are just too many people who won’t vote for a black guy”. Before anyone else could respond, I said, “Oh, I don’t know about that. I would probably vote for him — if he wasn’t a communist.” At least that shut every one up so we could get on with the card game.
I just have the sick feeling there are forces in the Middle East that want to see us out of there and they are placing O on that fence post.
They will raise the oil prices till the populace says, “ANYTHING is better than this.”
“Ive never liked the -boating accusations.
I miss the -gate days.”
boat.. gate.. Panama Canal.
I am still mad that Jimmy gave away the Panama Canal. What would Obama give away to make some one like HIM better?
Note: The “one real old guy” at your poker game was correct, in my opinion.
Perfect come back!
I like 'em all. I'm a political junkie; a gate-a-boat-a-holic.
:^)
Priceless!
Good point.
