Media coverage ought to be a hoot this time.
NPR was going on and on about the contest -- you know, since McCain is such an EXTREME conservative, the contest between Obama (he's the Democrat) and that EXTREME conservative McCain should really show how divided the country is. I guess the big question will be how many people really want to support an EXTREMIST like McCain versus Obama (the Democrat).
The media just doesn't look at this stuff the way we do.

"the unusually charming Barack Obama" I'm not trying to put myself above the fray or anything.. It's just that I don't see this guy's personal appeal. I wince when I see him. It's as if he is half white, half black and half space alien. Yuck, he's ugly and repulsive. When he speaks the word "rancid" pops into my mind. I can't listen, I have to mute him every time.

I did like her latter-campaign personality. But by then, it was too late.

I understand that she did appeal to a wider swath of voters later in the campaign, but I didn’t find her likable. She was such a transparent beer-and-shot phony.

I wouldn't want to say that Conservatives are gifted judges of character, but in 1992 a lot of people thought Clinton was a pretty cool guy -- and some thought he was way above average. But a number of conservatives thought he was "scary bad". Potential to be about the worst president ever. My Liberals friends thought that was coming from left field -- what was there not to like??
Now with Obama -- pretty cool guy, possibly way above average - you know, except for that fact that he scares the crap out of me.

C’mon, just because she comes across as a strident witch and a shrew, has nothing to do with her failed campaign/sarc.

The Bosnia sniper story showed the democrats what the republicans have known for years—that Hillary is a compulsive, unrepentant bull$hit artist. Even the bootlicking sycophant Lanny Davis couldn’t spin that tale into something palatable, though not for lack of trying.

Make Hillary more likable?
Perhaps a Coroner could accomplish that feat.

shouldn't therehave been more emphasis on making Hillary more likeable? They cannot do that which is impossible.
