WASHINGTON - An emboldened Barack Obama browbeat Sen. Joe Lieberman on the Senate floor after the self-proclaimed "Independent Democrat" slammed the candidate on behalf of Republican John McCain.
Flexing his new power as the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, Obama greeted Lieberman, a prominent McCain backer, on the Senate floor Wednesday - then promptly led him by the hand to a back corner to give him a talking-to.

B. Hussein is turning out to be as toxic a character as the Haughty John Kerry. It seems the Democrats can only come up with these snobs who look down their noses at “typical” Americans.
I don’t know what he’s got to be arrogant about except maybe being really good at reading a teleprompter. He’s where he is because someone important - with a ton of money - chose to foist him on us.

Chris Matthews and Keith Olbermann have already come to blows over who gets to perform his ablutions. They make me sick. What a bunch of servile, obsequious assholes. If Lieberman does speak at the Convention then the Dems can count on at least splitting the Jewish vote. I know Joe is a McCain supporter but being given the honor of speaking at the Convention after what the Democratic party did to him in 2006, that could sway some of the not so hard core who might be worried about Israel crowd!

I agree with you, CG. It’s frustrating reading some of these comments lately because no matter what we say we are all going to be accused of being racists. Then people make comments like this, and it just makes it worse!
