CHARLOTTE, N.C. — In a quiet, upscale neighborhood in Charlotte, N.C., rows of custom-style homes and neatly landscaped lawns represent the American dream.
But one local resident has shattered that image, calling for the death of American troops in Iraq and supporting Al Qaeda through his Web site, which he reportedly runs from his parents' home.
Samir Khan is the man behind Revolution.Muslimpad.com — a radical Islamic site that praises Usama bin Laden and asks for Allah to “curse more American soldiers.”

There’s something very ironic about someone sitting in the lap of luxury, courtesy of the Great Stan, and calling for it’s destruction.

I have been amazed at how many vets come back from sandbox and say “yes, we are fighting to protect their free speech”
This answer seems to be consistent enough that it may have become part of the professionalism of military culture and perhaps even regular training for troops coming or visiting home.
I believe that this is the first time in history that soldiers have been so professional and calm in the face of such idiotic behavior from their own populous.

I agree that we fight to protect the rights to Free Speech of all Americans (even the ones we disagree with), but, I don’t think what this man is doing constitutes free speech. I think at best this is sedition, at the worst, it is actually serving as a spokesman for the enemy (Tokyo Rose, the late Adam Gadahn, etc).
