Wouldn't it be a simple matter to go to South America, Africa, Australia, and Asia to look at the feet of primitive and backward cultures that don't wear shoes and measure their toes? Instead we pay big bucks to university professors to speculate and argue about the idea. I thought lawyers were bad I thought politicians were bad. Then I thought psycholgists were bad. Now com the anthropologists. They are really bad.

Imagine being the first shoe salesman:
Neanderthal Salesman: Madam, I know it’s a little uncomfortable, but it’s the latest thing. Imagine the envy of all your friends. And they are on sale!
Woman: I’ll take three pair.

Does anyone know if enough skeletons from pre 40,000 years ago exist to make a valid comparison?
