SEATTLE (AP) Most of the time, a kiss is just a kiss in the stands at Seattle Mariners games. The crowd hardly even pays attention when fans smooch.
But then last week, a lesbian complained that an usher at Safeco Field asked her to stop kissing her date because it was making another fan uncomfortable.
The incident has exploded on local TV, on talk radio and in the blogosphere and has touched off a debate over public displays of affection in generally gay-friendly Seattle.
"Certain individuals have not yet caught up. Those people see a gay or lesbian couple and they stare or say something," said Josh Friedes of Equal Rights Washington. "This is one of the challenges of being gay. Everyday things can become sources of trauma."
As the Mariners played the Boston Red Sox on May 26, Sirbrina Guerrero and her date were approached in the third inning by an usher who told them their kissing was inappropriate, Guerrero said.

People are still attending Mariner games!?
Yes, seeing perversion in public is still shocking to some of us. Be perverted in private. Homosexual affection, within reason is acceptable - not perversion. The problem is these folks can't get in through their emotionally disturbed heads that same sex “affection” is not normal.
When perversion is seen as normal behavior, the door to Hell is just around the corner.
The people in Sodom and Gomorrah were not shocked by perversion for a long time. But the fire and brimstone sent by God did get their attention.
In the story, the two women in question said they were giving each other “brief kisses”. Assuming that to be the case, it was nobody else’s business. I’ve seen heterosexual couples groping each other in public venues to the point that they need to get a room, and that’s far more inappropriate.
“The people in Sodom and Gomorrah were not shocked by perversion for a long time. But the fire and brimstone sent by God did get their attention.”
Yup! In the near future, He will get their attention again. No matter how doped up they are, which seems to be a requirement for that “leftstyle choice”, they will be forced to see the err of their ways.
But why should, not a pervert be forced to be in the closet? What ever happened to THEM being in the closet?

Trauma? Because someone is LOOKING AT YOU?? TRAUMA? Pathetic.
When people see something out of the ordinary, be it a woman wearing a burka, two men or women kissing, a topless woman walking down the sidewalk, there are going to be stares. Deal with it. Heck, if it is two beautiful women kissing, expect the cameras to come out. Every last thing you do in public is subject to stares and (non-violent) comments. DEAL WITH IT.
“Guerrero denied she and her date were groping each other, saying that along with eating garlic fries, they were giving each other brief kisses.”
Kissing after eating garlic is pretty gross too.....LOL

I’m guessing you’re in the “it’s OK to be homosexual as long as you’re a good looking female” camp...:)
“”I was really just shocked,” Guerrero said. “Seattle is so gay-friendly. There was a couple like seven rows ahead making out. We were just showing affection.”
The honest answer to that question is very long-winded and boring, but here's a shorter answer: Bottom line is that if all women were lesbians, then our species would quickly go extinct [Death of The West].
On the other hand, I have toyed with the idea of becoming a polygamist and having a harem full of fecund, baby-making, lipstick-lesbians for my wives...
Since there was no picture to accompany this article, I have to assume that the couple was more on the butch side of lesbianism than the lipstick variety. GUILTY!
