I am absolutely certain that generations from now, we will be able to look back and tell our children that this was the moment when we began to provide care for the sick and good jobs to the jobless; this was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal.
Oh my. This thread is moving to quickly. Based on that Rush transcript - this really IS a quote (paraphrased?) of Obama’s.
Seig Heil!
True, but can he stop the oceans from rising? Hmmmm???? :-)
If this can be the moment when we no longer have Clintons in power, that’s good enough for me.
Let’s see.
1) We are at 5% unemployment. Assuming a natural unemployment rate (those who can’t or won’t work) of 5%, we are at or near full employment.
2) Everybody has healthcare. The uninsured just go to hospital emergency rooms. Does everyone have access to UNLIMITED healthcare (like Ted Kennedy having brain surgery at Duke University?). Of course not. But to imply that everyone will have unlimited healthcare is like saying “Everyone will be a millionaire.” Uh, how do we pay for it, Barak?
SOCIALIST DROOLINGS!!!!
Thanks Didi, now I know what’s going on, just more Obama puke nonsense. :0)
John Edwards channeled fetuses from the womb.
Remember how Hillary mocked him and said “celestial choirs will be singing, the heavens will open up” ? Could be a nice Republican ad to use the criticism of a good Democrat like Hillary against Obama.
Jobs for the jobless? Can he really create “green” jobs that pay well and employ the chronically unemployed?
Health care for all? My God, even the uninsured in this country get basic universal care as it is, if you consider that nobody can be turned away from an emergency room. Of course that care isn’t as good as the plan for members of Congress, which he will open to all. (don’t ask him who will pay for that)
Yep he will hold back the oceans as he turns around the alleged global warming. Sheesh, if you read and think about what he says, rather than be caught up in the frenzy of a campaign rally, you have to wonder what the heck he really will do as president.
People say dumb things during campaigns.
Im absolutely certain that generations from now we will be wondering how this socialist POS got so close to the Presidency of the United States. I fear for this Republic
LOLOLOL Dabbing eyes from laughing.
Thanks I needed a good laugh this afternoon.
A ruler wiser, greater, and more modest than King Barry Hussein:
“Let all men know how empty and worthless is the power of kings. For there is none worthy of the name but God, whom heaven, earth and sea obey”.
So spoke King Canute the Great, the legend says, seated on his throne on the seashore, waves lapping round his feet. Canute had learned that his flattering courtiers claimed he was “So great, he could command the tides of the sea to go back”. Now Canute was not only a religious man, but also a clever politician. He knew his limitations - even if his courtiers did not - so he had his throne carried to the seashore and sat on it as the tide came in, commanding the waves to advance no further. When they didn’t, he had made his point that, though the deeds of kings might appear ‘great’ in the minds of men, they were as nothing in the face of God’s power.
“President Canute”
I thought after I left work last night and walked past the throngs of people in line, that they could have lowered me from the roof of the Xcel Center to be touched and healed by Barack.
“this really IS a quote (paraphrased?) of Obamas”
Yes, but I think his ad lib about thanking his grandmother is more galling. But we did reveal, perhaps by mistake, that grandma is being stashed somewhere in Hawaii, before she was stashed away in Kansas I believe.
I suspect the reason why they don’t want anyone to talk to her is that her heart was broken when she read how he cast her in his book.
LOL...somebody ought to tell the idiot what a tidal chart is.
And mark ye, where his dandruff falls on the earth, there will grow tulips! And where he spitteth, there a might oak!
And mark ye, where his dandruff falls on the earth, there will grow tulips! And where he spitteth, there a mighty oak!
...Comrades....
