Obama on Whites and Muslims
CarolineGlick.com ^ | 6/4/08 | Caroline Glick

Senator Barack Obama is now the Democratic nominee for President of the United States of America.

This seems like a good time to consider who this man is. Here are some quotes from his autobiographies Dreams of My Father and The Audacity of Hope that might help Americans and the rest of the world get a sense of this man who is one general election away from the Oval Office.

Before you read them consider that Henry Kissinger once remarked that presidents come into office and leave office the the same men. The job is too demanding to permit opportunities for growth or change. There is simply no time for reflection.

So here is Senator Obama, in his own words.

From Dreams of My Father: "I ceased to advertise my mother's race at the age of 12 or 13, when I began to suspect that by doing so I was ingratiating myself to whites."

From Dreams of My Father : "I found a solace in nursing a pervasive sense of grievance and animosity against my mother's race."

From Dreams of My Father: "There was something about him that made me wary, a little too sure of himself, maybe. And white."

From Dreams of My Father: "It remained necessary to prove which side you were on, to show your loyalty to the black masses, to strike out and name names."

From Dreams of My Father: "I never emulated white men and brown men whose fates didn't speak to my own. It was into my father's image, the black man, son of Africa , that I'd packed all the attributes I sought in myself, the attributes of Martin and Malcolm, DuBois and Mandela."

From Audacity of Hope: "I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction."

That last quote is taken out of context.

I do not like Obama or anything he stands for. However, there’s no need to twist truth — truth, in his case, is damning enough.

Very good. Here’s some more.
Keep in mind the man who wrote this is the Democratic nominee for president of the United States! In a sane world, when the statements were discovered he would have been finished.

From Dreams Of My Father:
“THAT HATE HADN’T GONE AWAY,” he wrote, BLAMING “WHITE PEOPLE— some cruel, some IGNORANT, sometimes a single face, sometimes just a faceless image of a system claiming power over our lives.”

From Dreams Of My Father, “I HAD GROWN ACCUSTOMED , everywhere, TO SUSPICIONS BETWEEN THE RACES.”

ISLAM:

Quote from Barack Obama’s book, Dreams Of My Father:
“THE PERSON WHO MADE ME PROUDEST OF ALL, though, was [HALF BROTHER ] ROY .. HE CONVERTED TO ISLAM” .

From ‘Dreams of my Father’, “IN INDONESIA, I HAD SPENT TWO YEARS AT A MUSLIM SCHOOL.”
“I STUDIED THE KORAN.”

From ‘Audacity of Hope: “LOLO (Obama’s step father) FOLLOWED .. ISLAM...” “I LOOKED TO LOLO FOR GUIDANCE”.

From The Audacity Of Hope, “WE ARE NO LONGER just A CHRISTIAN NATION..We ARE also a Jewish nation, A MUSLIM NATION, a Buddhist nation, a Hindu nation, and a nation of nonbelievers.”

Can you just imagine a white candidate having these statements out in print? They would be CRUCIFIED!

The passage, from page 261 of Obama’s book, says:

“Of course, not all my conversations in immigrant communities follow this easy pattern. In the wake of 9/11, my meetings with Arab and Pakistani Americans, for example, have a more urgent quality, for the stories of detentions and FBI questioning and hard stares from neighbors have shaken their sense of security and belonging. They have been reminded that the history of immigration in this country has a dark underbelly; they need specific reassurances that their citizenship really means something, that America has learned the right lessons from the Japanese internments during World War II, and that I will stand with them should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.”

This list of HUSSEIN’S perverse quotations should be kept in ones wallet for ease of recall on why this Idiot sould never get near the WHITE HOUSE, even to look thru the fence.
NO FOOTBATHS AND PRAYER RUGS IN THE WHITE HOUSE EVER!!! NO EVENING CALLS TO PRAYER AT THE WHITE HOUSE EVER!! B.O. HUSSEIN AYS THE EVENING CALL IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL SOUND, LET HIM LISTEM TO IT IN MECCA EVERYDAY. AMEN!

He doesn’t have to go that far. He could meditate to its rapturous call several times a day over loud speakers in Jerusalem.

(Almost makes me want to retch in recalling it.)

Here is the complete quote:

“In the wake of 9/11, my meetings with Arab and Pakistani Americans … have a more urgent quality, for the stories of detentions and FBI questioning and hard stares from neighbors have shaken their sense of security and belonging,” he laments. “I will stand with them should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.”
http://www.examiner.com/a-534540~Can_a_past_of_Islam_change_the_path_to_president_for_Obama_.html?cid=dc-article-obama

How is it taken out of context??? The complete quote doesn’t make a h*ll of a lot of difference.

Then there are THESE little gems:

“Malcolm X’s autobiography seemed to offer something different,” Obama wrote. “His repeated acts of self-creation spoke to me; the blunt poetry of his words, his unadorned insistence on respect, promised a new and uncompromising order, martial in its discipline, forged through sheer force of will.”

Speaking of his mother:
“Her memories of the Christians who populated her youth were not fond ones,” Obama wrote. “For my mother, organized religion too often dressed up closed-mindedness in the garb of piety, cruelty and oppression in the cloak of righteousness.”

In “Audacity,” the senator wrote that such believers insist “not only that Christianity is America’s dominant faith, but that a particular, fundamentalist brand of that faith should drive public policy, overriding any alternative source of understanding, whether the writings of liberal theologians, the findings of the National Academy of Sciences, or the words of Thomas Jefferson.”
As for the Democratic Party, Obama observed that “a core segment of our constituency remains stubbornly secular in orientation, and fears — rightly, no doubt — that the agenda of an assertively Christian nation may not make room for them or their life choices.”
http://www.examiner.com/a-534540~Can_a_past_of_Islam_change_the_path_to_president_for_Obama_.html?cid=dc-article-obama

..........................................

He added: “To avoid being mistaken for a sellout, I chose my friends carefully. The more politically active black students. The foreign students. The Chicanos. The Marxist professors and structural feminists.”

“To admit our doubt and confusion to whites, to open up our psyches to general examination by those who had caused so much of the damage in the first place, seemed ludicrous, itself an expression of self-hatred,” he wrote.

..some of Obama’s conclusions about the white race, which he once described as “that ghostly figure that haunted black dreams.”

Obama’s racial suspicions were not always limited to whites. For example, after making his first visit to Kenya, he wrote of being disappointed to learn that his paternal grandfather had been a servant to rich whites.

He wrote in “Dreams” that the revelation caused “ugly words to flash across my mind. Uncle Tom. Collaborator. House nigger.”

t was not the first time young Obama would be subjected to racial slurs. He recalled an assistant basketball coach in high school referring to a group of black men as “niggers.”

“I told him — with a fury that surprised even me — to shut up,” Obama wrote.

“There are black people, and there are niggers,” the coach explained, according to Obama. “Those guys were niggers.”

Obama answered with contempt.

“’There are white folks and then there are ignorant motherf-—ers like you,’ I had finally told the coach before walking off the court,” he wrote.

Real presidential material, huh? Just the American ideal!

I acted surprised years ago when a black (female) colleague of my wife used the “N” word freely while chatting with us over a burger, her response to me was the same as that coach’s “There are black people, and then there are n******”

LETS’S REALLY EXAMINE THESE STATEMENTS, PEOPLE.

From Dreams of My Father, “ I FOUND A SOLACE IN NURSING A PERVASIVE SENSE OF GRIEVANCE AND ANIMOSITY AGAINST MY MOTHER’S RACE”.

From ‘Dreams of my Father’, “THE EMOTION BETWEEN THE RACES COULD NEVER BE PURE...THE OTHER RACE WOULD ALWAYS REMAIN JUST THAT; MENACING, ALIEN AND APART.”

From ‘Dreams of My Father’,
“I CEASED TO ADVERTISE MY MOTHER’S RACE AT THE AGE OF 12 OR 13, WHEN I BEGAN TO SUSPECT THAT BY DOING SO I WAS INGRATIATING MYSELF TO WHITES.”

From Dreams Of My Father, “NEVER EMULATE THE WHITE MEN and brown men whose fates didn’t speak to my own. IT WAS INTO MY FATHER’S IMAGE, THE BLACK MAN, SON OF AFRICA, THAT I’D PACKED ALL THE ATTRIBUTES I SOUGHT IN MYSELF”.

From Dreams Of My Father:
“THAT HATE HADN’T GONE AWAY,” he wrote, BLAMING “WHITE PEOPLE— some cruel, some IGNORANT, sometimes a single face, sometimes just a faceless image of a system claiming power over our lives.”

From Dreams Of My Father;
“There were enough of us on campus to constitute a tribe, and when it came to hanging out many of us chose to function like a tribe, staying close together, traveling in packs,” he wrote. “IT REMAINED NECESSARY TO PROVE WHICH SIDE YOU WERE ON, TO SHOW YOUR LOYALTY TO THE BLACK MASSES, TO STRIKE OUT, AND NAME NAMES. “

From Dreams Of My Father, “I HAD GROWN ACCUSTOMED , everywhere, TO SUSPICIONS BETWEEN THE RACES.”

Doesn’t that just about sum up his views of the white race?
He set HIMSELF apart from the white race at an early age, to blame them and pity himsef- to play the race card.

Now, let’s look at what he says about Islam:

Quote from Barack Obama’s book, Dreams Of My Father:
“THE PERSON WHO MADE ME PROUDEST OF ALL, though, was [HALF BROTHER ] ROY .. HE CONVERTED TO ISLAM” .
He’s PROUD of his brother for converting to Islam????
(brother is now a radical Muslim in Kenya.)
He’s telling us he APPROVES of Islam!
Then why did he leave it?
He didn’t, he joined a “Christian” church for political reasons.

I suppose he’s proud of his murderous Islam-backed cousin, Odinga, too. Odinga had a pact with Islamists that if he won the election, he would force sharia law on the country and when Odinga lost the election, he instigated riots that resulted in 1500 deaths- among those were 50 people burned alive in a Christian church when they burned it to the ground!
Is Obama proud of his cousin, too? Must be. He went to Kenya and campaigned for him. But then, he told us long ago, “I will stand with the Muslims..”.

From ‘Dreams of my Father’, “IN INDONESIA, I HAD SPENT TWO YEARS AT A MUSLIM SCHOOL.”
“I STUDIED THE KORAN.”
He tells us in his book he went to a Muslim school and studied the Koran.
NOW THE OBAMA CAMP DENIES IT.

From ‘Audacity of Hope: “LOLO (Obama’s step father) FOLLOWED .. ISLAM...” “I LOOKED TO LOLO FOR GUIDANCE”.

Obama was under his Muslim stepfather’s influence during much of his formative years. He tells us his stepfather was a practicing Muslim, and HE LOOKED TO HIM FOR GUIDANCE. Don’t think the Muslim father didn’t give it to him..just as is required by Islam.

From The Audacity Of Hope, “WE ARE NO LONGER just A CHRISTIAN NATION..We ARE also a Jewish nation, A MUSLIM NATION, a Buddhist nation, a Hindu nation, and a nation of nonbelievers.”
Western civilization, whether Libs like it or not, is based upon the morality outlined in the Bible, and it has been our adherence to this morality that has determined the strength of our civilization.

“ISLAM ISN’T IN AMERICA TO BE EQUAL TO ANY OTHER FAITH, BUT TO BECOME DOMINANT. The Koran ... should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on earth. Everthing we need to know is in the Koran. We don’t need to look somewhere else.” OMAR M. AHMAD, CHAIRMAN OF CAIR,the mainsteam Muslim advocacy group.

He admires MALCOLM X????

Speaking of his mother:
“Her memories of the Christians who populated her youth were not fond ones,” Obama wrote. “For my mother, organized religion too often dressed up closed-mindedness in the garb of piety, cruelty and oppression in the cloak of righteousness.”

He’s speaking for himself.

As for the Democratic Party, Obama observed that “a core segment of our constituency remains stubbornly secular in orientation, and fears — rightly, no doubt — that the agenda of an assertively Christian nation may not make room for them or their life choices.”

..........................................

He added: “To avoid being mistaken for a sellout, I chose my friends carefully. The more politically active black students. The foreign students. The Chicanos. The Marxist professors and structural feminists.”
HE ADMITS HE CHOSE AS HIS FRIENDS MARXIST PROFESSORS.

Jesus H. Christ! This country has gone start raving insane to even THINK about letting this man anywhere NEAR the White House!!

but I am very worried about the future of our Republic right now.

You and me both. I am still not certain just what Obama's stealth agenda is, but of this I am certain--he has one, and it's detrimental to America as a free nation. There have been bad President-see Jimmy Carter-but Obama is going to be something entirely new, in a class by himself. And this "change" he's offering-it may be ambiguous to the listener, but I think he knows exactly what change he has in mind. He just can't articulate it, or people would be truly frightened. As it is, they're too stupid to even ask him, even if they would only get a lie as an answer.

It's just frightening when I think about what might happen to us all.

Just keep the 2nd Amendment in mind before November gets here.

I have to laugh at myself, but I catch myself thinking that he reminds me of Nicolae Carpathia. A line from his speech tonight, “We’re going to make history!” reminded me of Carpathia saying “We’re going to change history!” (And there’s that “change” meme again).

In the last few weeks I have thanked God that for all the socialist tinkering and activist judge-interfering Americans have had to face, we have-so far-managed to “cling” to our guns, and our right to keep and bear them. The fact that the socialists are trying so hard to disarm us is telling. I thank God that we haven’t gotten as far down that road yet as Britain, who can only hope that their votes will be respected as their voice in government. Because when the day comes (and it’s coming) when their votes are meaningless, they will have no way to fight the fascists.

Funny, it reminded me of a line by Richard Dreyfuss in the first movie Jaws. The town folks were overloading boats in their mindless attempt to go after the shark, when Dreyfuss said, “They’re all going to die.”

We are on a road now that my not bring us back, but by a river of blood. I hope God helps us out.
