I live at the other end of Butler county on the northeast Warren County line and we’re getting rain and lightening, but not too much else.

I from Preble County. Thanks to the poster I called home, in Warren County, and called my parents. Wow, wunderground.com shows almost max storm intensity.

Is this anywhere near Columbus, OH? Family lives south of Columbus. Prayers up for Ohio area.

Wife and kids in the basement. Parents in basement. Me? Jr. Presidential Suite with hot tub and fireplace in Niagra Falls, Ontario. Oh well someone has to go out and work.

No. It is about 2 hours southeast of Columbus. Here is a map:

Franklin area here ... butler/wareen county line. We are halfway between Cincy and Dayton .... have seen 2 hooks and one funnel form. Have headed to basement twice.
Columbus is 90 miles EastNorhEast of us.
Rough night until 3 a.m. Strong string of weather from here to west of Indianapolis

The worst of it is headed for exactly that area according to the Weather Channel.
To: Recon Dad
We aren’t in harms way, but sure can see a lot of lightening.

But locals are saying it may start falling apart soon. We do have some 70 mile an hour winds nearby. Some shear. Some rotation. Heading into Warren County soon.

Just talked with family and son is headed for work and if it gets too bad wife and kids will head for the basement. Everything OK so far. Son did say the cell was huge to the south.
To: HiramQuick
Thanks, wish I was home but I am in Niagra Falls on business.
