Fast Eddie is saying he might lie under oath. Depending on the situation, he might be able to do that an not commit perjury.
Easy solution: Do not commit adultery and then you won't have the dilemma about lying to cover it up.
"Well, quite - quite apart from the impeachment was the fact that the President lied under oath," Mr. Klayman replied. "Did you consider that to be a joke?"
"Gosh, probably as a prosecutor," Mr. Rendell answered, "I'm used to people lying under oath. And, you know, if - if I cheated on my wife and was asked about it under oath, I might lie about it too."
"What others kinds of things warrant lying under oath besides cheating on your wife?" Mr. Klayman then asked.
Mr. Rendell's attorney Peter Winebrake objected. "It's irrelevant," he said. "Don't answer it."
The comments were in reference to the Paula Jones case, and Clinton's lies under oath during the prosecution of that case. Rendell is saying he would have done the same thing. Klayman than asks what else he would be willing to lie about under oath. Rendell responds by looking to the ceiling and all around the room, before his attorney objects. And we've got THAT on video.
It was clear to most people in that room, that Governor Rendell would be willing to perjure himself.
And btw, just like Clinton, Rendell is known, at least locally for cheating on his wife. I was friends with someone with whom he made such an attempt. He likes them beautiful, lean and young. As he is getting to be an old and fat guy, who looks rather unhealthy, perhaps it's not as easy for him as it was in his younger days. : )
BTW, of course we still want to fight those Clinton's. Even though Obama has won the nomination, Hillary and Bill are not going to go away. If Obama doesn't want her for VP (which would be silly as he'll end up a dead man), he had better quickly name his nominee, before the draft for VP for Hillary, that she began last night, takes hold and he's forced into it. How easily she is able to control some of the masses.
We believe Rendell perjured himself in our case, btw.
