Please do sleep! We don’t want you to get your days and nights mixed up again! (((hugs)))
Sweet dreams...see ya tomorrow!
Yeah, you! :-)
Good evening, TS....hope your teaching day went well.
Are y’all taking turns tonight? :D
I relly expected to find myself on the otherside of you.
Thanks for tonite’s thread Lauren!
Good evening everyone..
Hope all is well.
Evening LUV, our weather is 55 degrees and rain, wish I could send some down to ya!
Thanks.
His training in OTC resulted in a stress fracture while running down a hill wearing a 75 lb pack. He still managed to finish the school running on a broken leg. He continued to run with a freeking broken leg. LOL
He’s tougher than I am, and he’s the kind of guy I want defending our country.
The Basic School is still pretty tough physically, and actually the packs you have to carry are heavier, but it’s more on tactics and how an officer handles command of a platoon or company. It’s more mental than OTC, but they make that mental part incredibly hard.
Hats off to all our sons and daughters who pass those tests are proud to be known as Marines.
Man! I wish you could too! This heat just saps my energy! Ugh!
Thanks, AZ, for the red, white, and blue tribute.
MS.BEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
(((((((hugs)))))))))
All’s well here, except it’s HOT! Hope you had a good (or relatively good) day at work!
You know it’s when —
*the birds have to use potholders to pull worms out of the ground.
*the potatoes cook underground, and all you have to do to have lunch is to pull one out and add butter, salt and pepper.
*farmers are feeding their chickens crushed ice to keep them from laying hard-boiled eggs.
*the cows are giving evaporated milk.
*you can make instant sun tea.
*you learn that a seat belt makes a pretty good branding iron.
*you’ve experienced condensation on your butt from the hot water in the toilet bowl.
*you notice the best parking place is determined by shade instead of distance.
*hot water now comes out of both taps.
*you actually burn your hand opening the car door.
*you break a sweat the instant you step outside at 7:30 a.m. before work.
*your biggest bicycle wreck fear is, “What if I get knocked out and end up lying on the pavement and cook to death?”
Oh yes!!!!
Too many hats!
Let’s just say it was Monday with a vengeance.
*you break a sweat the instant you step outside at 7:30 a.m. before work.
I experienced those two today. :D
Now that’s hot!!
