More video of Rev. Michael Vanilla Ice Pflegers race-baiting sermon last week at Trinity United Church of Christ has emerged on YouTube. Boy, was he on a roll. If you thought his bug-eyed, Jeremiah Wright wannabe mimickry of Hillary Clintons white entitlement was over the top, youll love the new excerpts in which Pfleger inveighs that America is the greatest sin against God. (God damn America was already taken, of course.)
My question is: What will it take for the Catholic Church to cut themselves loose of this racial huckster? Have the balls to fire him already. (See also Catholics against Pfleger.)

Let him say whatever he wants. I support his right to be an idiot. The more he opens his mouth, the more it helps us.
Heh, heh.
As appalling as this moron is, every awful thing he says can only hurt Obama more. So I say, keep it up Pfleger.
I honestly don’t believe either Wright or Pfleger actively want to hamstring Obama.
They just can’t help themselves here. They want to take their acts to the national stage. YouTube is their best friend.
And I’m wondering if an earlier poster is right about Chicago being the epicenter of Black hatemongering. It’s so much easier for a pastor to cater to his flock’s prejudices that to challenge them to take responsibility for their behavior and live moral lives.
Has he done the morning talk circuit yet? : )

Child molesters, Homosexuals and Racist agitators — allowed and enabled!
Good post.
Decorum, thy name is most certainly not “Catholicism”!
We need to give the Cardinal’s “Office of Racial Justice” a call tomorrow, from his letter admonishing the racist Priest, I gather he did not hear his entire sermon, or he would be fired on the spot.
http://www.dwellinmylove.org/top_office_for_racial_justice.htm
The core mission of the Office is to address the sin of racism by providing parishes and schools with the tools to initiate and enhance their efforts to combat racism. Cardinal Francis George, O.M.I., established the Office for Racial Justice July 1, 2000. The Office is a direct outgrowth from the Archdiocese of Chicagos Task Force on Racism as a response to the beating of Lenard Clark in 1997.
The Archdiocese of Chicago will
Acknowledge that racism is a sin that has created a racist society in which the dominant culture benefits.
Encourage Catholic to search their own hearts on the questions of how the sin of racism has touched them.
Guide parishes to proclaim the gospel message that stresses our unity, and design pastoral responses that will help combat the sin of racism.
Create educational opportunities in schools and parishes that will uncover the truth about racism in America and in our local communities while providing the means to bring about healing.
Stimulate church involvement in community initiatives addressing issues of racial justice.

Initiatives are driven by three principles:
A call to change attitudes and behaviors that will lead to a conversion of heart and reconciliation among peoples of every ethnic and cultural background.
A commitment to take concrete, visible steps to dismantle personal and systemic racism.
To witness through our lives and actions the unconditional love of God for all human beings regardless of their racial, religious, or national origin.
This recommendation is made the understanding that the archdiocese must combat racism in a manner consistent with the mission of the local church. Accordingly, we see that this commitment connects integrally with the Archdiocese’s evangelization efforts in the new millennium.

Maybe the clown from the UN on a tour of the US to look into racism can take a look...../sarcasm
I guess there are no self-aggrandizing idiots in your church. You must be proud.
Took the words from my mouth.
this was Memorial Day weekend “sermon.”
I wonder whether Obama will be able to convince Bill Ayers to make some incendiary statement somewhere so he can publicly denounce and break with him as well? Or would the trifecta be too obvious?
Pfleger is his own pope.
Big difference between the guy sitting in the pew, spewing hate, tripe, and un-christian doctrine and some one doing it from the pulpit.
