I suppose you could argue that British news sources are inherently untrustworthy, but this seems authentic and major.

what exactly is the problem with prison ships? Is there something in the geneva convention involving sea-sickness?

I think prison ships are a good idea... only if anchored in shark-infested waters.

who claim there has been an attempt to conceal the numbers and whereabouts of detainees.

God I hope so.

The US government was yesterday urged to list the names and whereabouts of all those detained.

FOAD Euroscum.

also claims there have been more than 200 new cases of rendition since 2006

Too bad it wasn't 2000.

So what? So some dirtbag terrorist are held in the brig for a few days. Big deal. This story has been floating around for years.

I strongly oppose holding terror suspects on prison ships.

I am very disappointed that we’re not just dumping them in the middle of the ocean. I doubt the sharks would even want to eat such dirtbags.

Prison ships are legal.

First, it was prison planes.

Then, it was prison third word countries.

Now, prison vessels.

Eventually, they will find one.

Reprieve will raise particular concerns over the activities of the USS Ashland and the time it spent off Somalia in early 2007

Who?

And why should anyone care?

According to their website, Reprieve is another Soros-funded organization.

George Soros - why can't we render HIM?

May just be some of those Carnival Cruise ships. Being on a ship is like being in prison with the added danger of drowning. From Churchill I think.

To please the ACLU, International Red Cross, Amnesty International, Code Pink, Physicians Without Borders, Human Rights Watch, CAIR, most Christian denominations, ANSWER, the UN, the DNC and assorted other anti-American organizations, we should just call them “gay cruises.”

Maybe they got a hold of some old newsletter printed during the American Revolution where the British kept Americans on prison ships in New York City harbor ... in absolute filth ...

These are probably the same ships the government leased to house the New Orleans refugees who then demanded better accomodations. Good cost-saving move.

The Guardian is the most anti-American British news service in the world. They make the NYT look like the GOP when it comes to pure hatred.

Remember the “Americans are dumb” headline when Bush won in Nov 2004? That’s them.

As for the prison ships...good. I wish it were prison planes tso we can kick out those AQ POS off at 5000 feet and hear them scream.

There are so many Americans walking the streets that would be justly served with the same fate as (the fictional) Lieutenant Philip Nolan:

These are “Green” times. We must think “Green” thoughts. Fill the ships to capacity, and then make them into artificial reefs.

The fishies will love it.

A British source complaining about prison ships? About 232 years too late, give or take a few months.
