Halving UN Peacekeeper Rape by the Year 2015?

In the Ivory Coast, a 13-year-old girl is gang-raped in a field by 10 UN peacekeepers , and left on the ground, bleeding, trembling and vomiting. This is part of a larger picture involving fresh allegations by a U.K.-based charity, Save the Children, of UN peacekeepers abusing children in the Ivory Coast, Haiti, and Southern Sudan. As detailed by the BBC, "the UN has said it welcomes the report, which it will study closely." Oh, great. The UN can add this report to its research collection of previous reports on UN peacekeeper rape in Liberia and Sierra Leone and the Congo and so forth; and we can look forward to more UN statements on the issue, such as Kofi Annan's "zero tolerance" policy of 2005, or his zero-zero tolerance policy of 2006 (when he "strengthened" the zero tolerance of 2005), and Assistant-Secretary-General Jane Lute's zero-zero-zero "zero tolerance" promises of 2007. The UN ought to just add these policies to its list of millenium development goals with all those other target dates and enormous numbers. You know, something like: Goal #9: Halving UN peacekeeper rape by the year 2015.

The UN is a totally dysfunctional institution. Its Oil-for-Food scam has been described as the biggest financial scandal in history. Third World thugs and violent tyrants participate in its "Human Rights" commissions. It's anti-American and anti-Semitic behavior is legendary. To all these flagrant abuses can be added the crimes of moral turpitude. It's astonishing that we continue to contribute billions to such an organization while making absolutely no serious demands for radical reform.

They could eliminate U.N. “peacekeeper” rape entirely by elimnating U.N. “peaekeeping” missions.

The U.N.’s time sas past. It should be shut down and replaced by an association of nations who meet American standards for civlization, liberty and political stability.

About 25% of the entire U.N. budget is paid by U.S. taxpayers. The U.N. has made the purchase of Manhattan for $24 in beads and trinkets a net loss.

We need to get out of the U.N.-—yesterday! What happened to this young girl (in addition to all the other travesties that have occurred) should weigh heavily on the heart of every thinking citizen.

The international double standard allows for the U.N. Peacekeepers to do this without international outrage.

The U.N. could go back to the tradition of having trained soldiers from truly neutral nations who aren’t being sent to the field for money to operate missions where both sides consent to a peacekeeping force. This current trend of “peace enforcement” is a farce. Furthermore, a private soldier should not have to be told in a U.N. training manual not to commit rape or theft. I wouldn’t expect this out of a Canadian or Polish or Austrian unit.

Halving UN peacekeeper rape by the year 2015

Rather draconian, don't you think. Better to set a more reasonable goal, say:

Reduce the UN Peacekeeper rape rate to 1990 levels by the year 2020.

Institute a cap-and-trade for UN Peacekeeper rapes whereby countries whose UN Peacekeepers rape at higher levels than the mandatory limits could buy rape credits from countries whose UN Peacekeepers rape rate is below the limit.

Isn’t/wasn’t there some sort of UN action about banning guns worldwide by individuals - aimed mostly at America? Imagine if UN peace keepers were stationed on our soil looking for illegal weapons ......

Of course, if UN Peacekeeper rape rates fall to unsustainable levels, the United States would have to be assessed a special “Global Rape Support Tax” to subsidize UN Peacekeeper rapists.

The UN is another Democrat success story. Birthed by the FDR administration’s KGB agent, the same D-Rats that gave the world Mao’s China and the Soviets Poland and Eastern Europe as well as the Arab Nazi’s. We are still infested by the traitors and if we get a DRat prez we will only survive via armed resistance!

The UN has proven that it doesn’t have the moral authority to condemn any nation (especially the U.S.) for the actions of individuals within their services.

From 2004 - “The United Nations’ top human rights official said today that the mistreatment of Iraqi prisoners by American soldiers could constitute a war crime, and he called for the immediate naming of an international figure to oversee the situation.”

I hereby accuse the U.N. of war crimes and demand that the entire organization stand trial immediately in a U.S. court (except for the ninth circuit).

You do know who organized the UN?

None other than our beloved Alger Hiss, confirmed as a Soviet agent in the Venona decryptions.

He was the Executive Secretary of the Dumbarton Oaks Conference, where the implementation of the UN was planned out, and later was the Secretary General of the United Nations Charter Conference. The UN was his gift to his country.

How nice.

Imagine if the US forces did this???? The US forces makes Headline news if a soldier uses the Koran for target practice, and US generals make formal apologies for such actions. Multiple UN soldiers rape young girls and it’s no big deal to the MSM.

No surprise that the United Nations will not release the nationality of the troops involved.

Now, now, now ... don't go bringing history and facts into the equation ... everything is humming along just fine without going there.

I don’t remember the nationality of the troops involved but I do recall that they are Black.

I find it embarrassing to financially support such a group of animals.
