Bill and Hillary Clinton no longer control the Democratic primary. There's simply no other conclusion to draw after the party's Rules and Bylaw committee reached a decision Saturday that helps Barack Obama and hurts Hillary Clinton's chances of somehow winning the Democratic presidential nomination.
Clinton, in the words of Florida State Sen. Arthenia Joyner, wanted "it all" at Saturday's meeting. She wanted full delegations seated from Florida and Michigan, with a full vote.
She wanted Obama to get zero delegates from Michigan, since he followed the rules, ignored the outlaw primary and went so far as to take his name off the ballot. (Granted, he did this largely to please voters in Iowa and New Hampshire, but so did Clinton when she agreed not to campaign in either state).
Instead of acquiesing to Clinton's demands, the rules committee awarded full delegations with half votes. And they gave Obama a bunch of delegates from Michigan to boot, rejecting Clinton's argument those delegates should be uncommitted.
So did Clinton get ripped off? Her supporters certainly believed so, shouting their disapproval when the votes on Florida and Michigan were taken Saturday at a Washington hotel.
But let's look more closely. Clintonites on the rules committee actually voted unanimously to support the Florida compromise. ....

I hope so and may it lead to complete mayhem.
Haha...
Rush you magnificent bastard.
She's not being considered by VP.
She won't be in the cabinet.
She will find the Senate a very cold place to be when the campaign is over.
She's pretty much burned the bridges for 2012.
This is her last hurrah. She will hold nothing back.
seems like.......chaos?
no...she actually think she will have another chance in 2012 after McCain beats Obama like a red-headed stepchild.
You hit the nail on the head.
Pass the popcorn, Orville.....
I agree. McCain is only going for one term even if he hasn't specifically said so yet. Clinton's challenge is to help sink SS Obama with "friendly fire" while appearing to support him.
Operation Chaos: Why Rush Limbaugh Was Right

You might be right.
And he's not done yet. The last few months have been one some of the most enjoyable listening ever.
It does all seem just a bit chaotic now, doesn’t it? Rush is awesome.
She and Slick have experience at it by camoflauge in 2004 elections coyly helping to sink the SS sKerry frigate offering virtually no support to Lurch.
Then blame Obama for being naive enough to play by the rules knowing he was up against the Clinton crime machine. While Obama took his name off the ballot like a dope, the Clintons ensured they kept their name on so they at least had the opportunity to try and walk away with all the delegates for themselves. Then the Clintons show up in Florida right before the primary there. But they weren't really campaigning, they were having "fundraisers."
Obama, you are such a sucker.
The way I see it is that, even with a Clintonian “nuclear option”, Obozo’s followers will not budge. One has to be totally brainwashed and beyond mental reach to even consider voting for him.
Pretty devastating takedown of Hill tonight on SNL - she’s the best candidate she claims because “1. I’m a sore loser; 2. My supporters are racists; 3. I have absolutely no ethical standards”...finally the MSM have got her right.....
I am afraid you are correct. The Dims will have buyers remorse after McCain wins 350+ EVs in November. They will then turn to H.Clinton in 2012.
Would Hillary really have a lot of support in 2012 after everything that has happened in this campaign?
