The person who should hang his head in shame in all this is Cardinal George. He has backed down repeatedly when Pfleger simply ignored orders to move, etc. A bishop has near-absolute authority over one of his priests.

I have been told that George has received death threats since his arrival in Chicago. Where’s the FBI???

Andrew Greeley has written that a group of priests and bishops are boy-rapists, and “are responsible for at least one murder.” But has he ever called the FBI? No. He just wrote that he has put information in a safe place, to be published in case he is ever found dead under suspicious circumstances. Does Greeley care about protecting other people or just himself?

I am not saint and make no mistakes about that. I was born into the Catholic Church and had expectations that never materialized. Perhaps those expectations will never occur, but I do respect your opinion. Please accept my sincere apologies. MFB

In a sane, non-leftist-liberal world Pfleger, esp. Sharpton, Farrakhan, Wright, Moss or Jesse Jackson would be in jail, defrocked, or laughed at, not with.

However, this is the leftist-warped America of 2008 when, like in “Alice in Wonderland”, everything is revised, as was it in “1984”’s marxist world (War is peace; peace is war).

Obama had 20 years of this hate-whitey, hate-America indoctrination from Wright and he claims it didnt’ affect him.

Either he is very deaf, very dumb, very stupid, or a very good liar, or any combination thereof, but Obama expects us to believe his innocence in all of this. I did catch your attention didn’t I sir? Seems when I speak correctly, nobody cares to listen. However, criticize the Catholic Church with only the slightest grammatical error and I become E. F. Hutton and all ears are poised to hear the next inaccuracies. “Hit the Books”; I think not… I’ll return when the church returns…

Obama and his supporters say you cannot judge him by whom he associates with. However, why would anyone choose to associate with Pfleger, Wright, or Farrakhan? I don't actually think Obama agrees with them. I think he's been using them to assure he gets street cred in the black community. Now, he needs working class voters, and these upfront racists are a problem for Obama that they'd not been before. Like his own granny, whom he'd describe as a racist equivalent to Wright for political gain, a great uncle, whom he'd said liberated Jews in Auschwitz, and like the claim that that same uncle experienced PTS (so Obama could claim to know the effects of combat and win over defence type voters), Obama will lie about and quit friends and family when it helps him.

I think it’s appropriate to associate those with whom you associate. Otherwise, how shall we know you? Your word? Your fancy use of oratory expression? How about telling us what you think we might want to hear. Bravo-Sierra! This guy is a fraud!

I'm not saying that it's unfair to judge him by the people he associates with. Far from it, but he and his surrogates will say that. I think he with the rabble rousing Wright so that he could fool blacks into thinking he has street cred. And it worked. Is he tough or really manly? Not in the real world. He's whines more about things slights real and imagined than McCain did as a POW. The man is a sissy, a wimp, and a glib girly man.
