Try to post this to liberal blogs:

“The last time the Democrats negotiated with several states over votes they were able to get 3/5ths, and now they can only get 1/2?”

Actually, slaves were not given 3/5ths of a vote in the Constitution. They were given no vote. The states in which slavery was practiced were allowed to count a slave as 3/5 of a person for representation purposes in the House of Representatives. Being a crimalien, a/k/a illegal alien, is worth more than being a slave as the Bureau of the Census counts people here, not just citizens!

My take away from this is that the Democrats should not be placed in charge of ANYTHING!

I watched some of that in absolute disbelief. This is the party that will be running the country next year. It’s absolutely incredible how far we’ve sunk. THEY CAN’T EVEN RUN THEIR OWN PARTY, for God’s sake.

Well I for one will take the high road and give heartfelt praise for this decision. In fact, in all future elections, I move that all Democrats be given 1/2 vote to cast! :)

The Democrats have said that their delegates (and hence, their voters) are not even worth the 3/5 vote the Constitution originally gave blacks!

The black delegates must really be pissed.

Even Democrats in all of their socialist error should be allowed time to learn more about their candidates. Some states are holding their primaries way too early in efforts to further delude and cheat most voters. This is America—not Sicily.

I agree that it is funny, BTW, putting the creepy, spoiled, domineering, infiltrating man-haters in their place in favor of the rivals that they’ve lied to and hated so much for about 150 years.

May I suggest something to post around:

Last time it was at least three-fifths
Under DNC rules, these Michigan voters will only be given HALF of a vote each.

IS THIS ANY WAY TO RUN A
DEMOCRACY?

The American National Socialist Party doesn't have 'constituents'. They have cottagers and villeins who are duped into thinking they're freemen. And for as long as they exist, there shall be no village for lack of an idiot.

Good point. And, I agree we should embarrass the Party, who in 2,000 in Florida screamed incessantly: “Every vote counts, every vote counts, every vote.......”

I predict the story will ultimately morph into the following:
The RATs came out with the best compromise they could under the circumstances. The REAL problem was that the Florida republican-controlled gubermint deliberately violated the rules of BOTH parties in moving their election too early, KNOWING that it would cause chaos during the nomination cycle. Michigan was simply playing follow the leader. You wait and see.

OK... a little history here. As I understand it the 3/5 compromise was between the South, which wanted slaves to count as citizens in the Census, thus giving the slave states more say in the Electoral College et al, and the North, which wanted them excluded from Census figures, thus weakening the Southern states’ influence and hastening the foregone conclusion that slavery could not continue forever.

This has been distorted into the drivel you read in these posts...SSZ

The way their primaries are set up, if there are two equal candidates vying, votes mean nothing. It’s the super delegates who choose the nominee. How democratic is that? Kerry and Kennedy are aligned with Hussein, even though their state voted for the beast, same for Richardson in NM. What a party, I can’t wait for their convention

First they only give the Michigan and Florida voters 1/2 a vote, and then worse then that they turn around and give Obama votes for a contest he didn't even have his name in.

They said it's a compromise. But it doesn't look like a compromise at all. When you're on the outside looking in it looks like dirty pool. What it looks like, is that they deliberately swayed the process in favor of Obama.

Obama 08

Democrats Biggest Gaffe!
