All in all, in this age of “blockbusters,” $27 million ain’t that great. The Spiderman movies took in over $50 million their opening weekends, and Indian Jones is closing in on $400 million.
Am I the only one in America who never saw so much as one episode of this series?
The problem they may have is that summer blockbusters rely on repeat business, and the demo of Skanks in the City is not one known for repeat viewing in theaters.
I expect a strong opening weekend and a pretty quick dropoff.

Doubtful it'll hold on. Depend on how many teenagers go see it today. Yesterday was probably the day all the working ladies saw it after work.

As revealed and observed on another thread, this soap opera is written by pederasts who use women as standins for homosexual men. This is a common literary device (see Tennessee Williams), and it helps to know it to make sense when analyzing it. I bet the series is a hit in college ‘gender studies’, or whatever the fag oriented courses are called.

Expect a sequel of SATC. YUCK!! Even worse this movie has a great chance of beating Prince Caspain in domestic box office.

My daughter went to see this movie last night. She said it stinks.

I do like one thing I see in the commercials. Carrie gets so focused on her dream wedding she basically ignores the fact it's driving away the man she wants to marry. Unfortunately I doubt too many women, or the writers and producers, get the gist of what that has to say about her choices in life.
Then again, as near as I can tell she and her friends refer to her fiancee by a nickname chosen due to the size of his penis, so I doubt they are capable of grasping just how pathetic their lifestyle is.
