Greetings to all the Freepers out there, it's time for the Friday Flyby. It's been a busy day for your humble poster of airplane pics so I am having to resort to the tried but true Grabbag. So on with the pics...

We lead off with an almost head on picture of a De Haviland Vampire trainer version. Hat tip to, who else, Glenn Alderton.

Next two pictures are of the classic eduel between the F-86 Sabre jet and the MiG-15. First up the Sabre...

and now the Mig, boo hiss snarl :-)

How about something a little more modern, a Wild Weasel F-16 is next up...

A pair of Northrup F-5s from the Swiss flight demo team are the #5 spot this evening, what a coincidence, eh...

And to close out tonights Flyby we havwe a flight of 3 F-94 Starfires in a rather dazzling paint scheme.

Y'all might remember the Great Walls of the Kid's project from last summer, whoo boy:-), well anyways here is pic of the almost finished project complete with landscaping ans several yards of compost trying to hide under that tarp.

Well I hope everybody has a great weekend out there, I have to go log some blanket drill in a few minutes as 12 hours of frivolity and fun awaits me tomorrow morning.
