Ed Gillespie, President Bush's counselor, says there is an "increasing blurring" of the line between NBC News and MSNBC's "blatantly partisan talk show hosts like Christopher Matthews and Keith Olbermann."
Terry McAuliffe, chairman of Hillary Clinton's campaign, says Matthews has been "in the tank" for Barack Obama "from Day One" and is practically "the Obama campaign chair."
Why are operatives from across the political spectrum suddenly beating up on the third-place cable channel? Phil Griffin, the NBC senior vice president who runs MSNBC, dismisses the criticism, calling Schmidt's broadsides "pretty outrageous accusations."

I will be watching MSNBC on election night.
Obama will lose and they will have to report that McCain won.

It is the blurring of the lines that MSNBC seems to have that I have issue. Willie usually does some silly segment about stupid events of the day. But then he becomes Joe for the day (Where the heck is Joe anyway?) and continues his sarcasm.
This is Olberman’s problem too-—he rants like a crazy man and then ‘miraculously’ changes into MaxHeadroom, super anchor, between commercials and covers election results. It is a real credibility question. If Olberman wants to be a commentary personality like O’Reily, so be it, but to wave a wand and act like a straight newsman...a real stretch.
