MSNBC, which bills itself as "the place for politics," is being pummeled by political practitioners."It's an organ of the Democratic National Committee," says Steve Schmidt, a senior strategist for John McCain's campaign. "It's a partisan advocacy organization that exists for the purpose of attacking John McCain."
Ed Gillespie, President Bush's counselor, says there is an "increasing blurring" of the line between NBC News and MSNBC's "blatantly partisan talk show hosts like Christopher Matthews and Keith Olbermann."
Terry McAuliffe, chairman of Hillary Clinton's campaign, says Matthews has been "in the tank" for Barack Obama "from Day One" and is practically "the Obama campaign chair."
Why are operatives from across the political spectrum suddenly beating up on the third-place cable channel? Phil Griffin, the NBC senior vice president who runs MSNBC, dismisses the criticism, calling Schmidt's broadsides "pretty outrageous accusations."

"Gillespie, who raised questions about the overlap between the networks in a letter to Capus, says in an interview: "The president is not covered on MSNBC, he's talked about on MSNBC," largely in unflattering terms. "It's an advocacy network, and they're free to say what they want."
Sadly, this is how all of the news programs have treated President Bush.
Keith Olberman is the MEANEST, NASTIEST person on TV.
I happened to watch a little of KO the other night. It was as disgusting a show as I have ever seen. He cannot call himself a journalist. He is nothing but a hate filled shill for the DNC. There was no “news”, only commentary, and ALL negative. What will he and his ilk do when Bush is no longer POTUS? They will have lost their one thing that gives meaning to their dreary pathetic lives.........
In a better world ( according to liberals) the unfair and corrupt would get the same respect as the honest and true.
So sad for them.
Closer to the truth.
Rush says it best - DNCTV.
Not to mention KO’s out of his frickin’ mind.
He’s still no Bill O’Reilly, just another shrieking moonbat. Matthews is marginally better, BO gives him that tingle, ya know.
MSNBC have really bet on the wrong horse with their blantant bias this election season. But then, they’ve always kind of sucked - far far left.
Why is Keef Overbite so hateful? Think Vienna Sausage.
It was as disgusting a show as I have ever seen.Keith Olbermann is a hate-filled toad. The fact that the left idolizes him makes their "love" for Obama's supposed message of unity a total hypocrisy.
That is true, because as Terry McAuliffe points out they are in the tank for Obama.
Since when is a sphincter an organ...?
Didn’t Keith Olberman used to be on ESPN? Not sure what happened to him since he left there. Didn’t know MSNBC was still on the air.

So do they call FOX - RNCTV?
Think...
Imagine Barry Hussein’s first day in office...Executive Orders legalizing homosexual marriage, revoking “don’t ask, don’t tell”, increasing Aids funding—all to pay off his mega-donations from LA homosexuals; and then, the Fairness Doctrine reinstated. Good bye to Rush, Hannity, Ingraham, Mike Savage and the rest of the thorns in the side of the MSM and the American left. The “Cronkite” media monopoly will be back in force and only the internet-which will be next on the leftist list-will provide facts and truth. Every time McCain does something to infuriate me, I think of this scenario (and it WILL HAPPEN) and rescind my solemn promise to not vote for that RINO under any circumstance.
I came across “Morning Joe” this morning—Wee Willie substituting for the “Where’s Waldo” Joe Scarborough—
Mikka Zbig relays that the next story will be about the vice presidential meetings over the weekend with John McCain.
Willie breaks in...”You mean Weekend at Bernie’s?” Mikka giggles like a schoolgirl.
It is this kind of nonsense that makes this newschannel (gag) totally irrelevant.
Outrageous......but true.
Terry McAuliffe, poor fellow, experiencing acute what we in the vast right wing have suffered chronic for many years.
You just live with it, Terry.
