Conservatives don't seem so enthused with John McCain and kind of feel on the sidelines this election cycle. Still, things could be worse, so I thought I'd make a list of positive things about the Republican candidate:
TOP TEN GREAT THINGS ABOUT JOHN MCCAIN
10. Independents love him, so they must know something we don't with how smart they think they are.
9. Since he has military combat experience, instead of getting the tiresome chickenhawk argument from liberals, we'll get the newer, more interesting "being in the military made him crazy!" argument.
8. Reportedly, he's very conservative on social issues... though he never likes to admit it in public so don't bring it up.
7. He is very solid on winning in Iraq. In fact, the whole quitting on Vietnam thing pissed him off so much he'll to this day strangle anyone who brings it up.
6. There.s even less evidence he's secretly a Muslim than the next leading presidential candidate.
5. He is reportedly quite comfortable around crackers and honkeys.
4. He still openly identifies himself as a Republican.
3. His name is very similar to that of the hero from Die Hard.
2. There is no credible evidence he puts puppies in blenders.
And the number one great things about John McCain...
Okay, I don't really have a full ten great things about John McCain and was kinda reaching on those last couple, but the general election hasn't even really started and I'm sure I'll be able to fill in the list later. Stay peppy, people!

How can you say that? Tom Coburn claims that "McCain's great strength is his humility". ; )
Go John.
If your post is referring to the Forrestal disaster, it is a complete distortion of what actually happened.
"Welcome to the party Hussein Obama"
The second greatest thing about John McCain is his opinion of Tom Coburn’s opinion of John McCain.
You’re kidding. Where have you been the last 8 years?
Yep.
What about Iraq and Iran? With McCain, we keep fighting for victory. With Obama, we surrender. What is your plan on that issue? Sit it out and do nothing?
I’m there on that one! That is my biggest reason for voting in November... No way for BO as prez.
Well at least he’s not the anti-Christ.
Yeah, post cute pictures and make your defiant comments... but don’t whine when President Obama get’s Americans into the grave by the thousands, whether the babies aborted or Americans dying at the hands of terrorists strengthened like never before. Our Republic will be finished by Obama. Call me a fear-mongerer, shrug of the “scare tactics”, but remember it 2009-12.
President Obama will be on the heads of Socialist Republicans who continue to force people like McCain down conservative’s throats.
If McCain and his group of socialists want our votes they know what to do, move to the right.
You're a little new around here, so I'll explain it... See, the Angry Conservative™ derides the Left for having a litmus test when it comes to things like Supreme Court Judges because that's simply idiotic!
Of course, they'll never admit they too have a litmus test about their ONE issue. And even then, if the candidate passes that litmus test it's still not acceptable because of _____ (left for the Angry Conservative™ to fill in).
Adulterer? Proof for that slander, apart from the false NYT rumour?
#1. HE is very old, and, hopefully by natural causes, will eventually die (as we all will)even if it is not the month of June (not so obscure Kennedy reference). I know that the toxic effects of his winning the election (by default)will pollute the USA for a L o n g time.NOTE to the Secret Service— I am NOT advocating snuffing the old fellow or even suggesting someone else snuff him unlike some presidential candidate we know.
#2 Regardless of November’s outcome this probably the last time folks will ever have to live through his pandering to the public for votes.
