If Tom Ridge were pro-life, he’d be the ideal candidate.

This is an impressive showing for McCain, given how bad the GOP is doing nationwide.

Looks like a five to eight point win in PA for McCain.

Pennsylvanians may still be offended by Obama’s comments during the primaries about people in small towns......

Tom Ridge? Very interesting.
Do I think that Ridge is far enough to the left for McCain? No.

But interesting.
I hold out no hope that Pa will reverse it’s 2 decades long record of voting for, and trending ever farther, blue.

I will be returning to SE Pa. this summer to help raise some havoc there for any dems on the ballot. ;^)

That is interesting.

Clinton beats Obama by 10% in PA primary.

Now, Obama is edging ahead of McCain.

That does not bode well for the Republicans.

I’m not so sure about Tom Ridge. He doesn’t present a very energetic figure, and with McCain’s age a potential issue, I’d rather see a more dynamic VP.

Well, Tom Ridge is pro-abort, so he he has no chance of being chosen.

The problem is that McCain and Obama are fighting over the same voters. McCain should try to attract conservatives instead of catering to the liberal side. But this is just a poll. We’ll see in November.

This close is very good. We’ll get a lot more traction later with Obama’s SanFran remarks as our side will be more willing to stick it to Obama with those kinds of remarks.

I wonder- McCain is always trying to “reach over the isle” to liberals and stepping on conservatives to do it. He might want a pro-abort as Vice President.

.
Check out this awesome video:

The same kind of terrorists who support Obama did this:

Never apologize for them.
Never appease them.
Never forget.

Is that Obama looking down his nose at us bitter people from small towns who cling to our religion and guns?

Thank you for posting the link to the 9/11 video. It made me cry and brought back memories from that time. It again makes me feel confident that going after these terrorists aggressively, as we have been, is the only way of defeating them and preventing another loss of innocent life from a future attack.

God bless all those who sacrificed their lives that day to save others, all those who died needlessly that day, and all of us who mourn for them still. God Bless America.

This is horrible for the marxists, they usually have a double digit lead in PA at this point going into Memorial Day.

given that the anti abort side has the party reeling (along with the Schiavo nuts) maybe it’s time to go toward the middle.

I don’t want a litmus test just someone who will let the people not judges decide the issue.

These are great numbers for McCain because there are a lot of Dems who will not tell a pollster they will never vote for Obama. Was told by a Dem here in OK that when you see the polls for Obama take about 5-8 points away for the Dems who will never vote for a black for President if not more then that. He has been involved in politics for years and he said it is not happening for Obama.
