"BTW, great tag line!"
I had lunch with the former 2LT yesterday, and somehow the subject of diversity and languages came up. I came up with the new tag, and we both had a good laugh over it.
I am so fortunate that he is safe and home.

To: Kathy in Alaska; All
Kathy first of all... thank you, and those who help, for all of the work involved in keeping the Canteen going to honor our service men and women all over the world. :)
There are so many reflections that can be made on this holiday, and not enough words in my vocabulary to express how our family feels about the sacrifices made daily by all in the service and their families.
So we will just say “Thank You” and continue praying for their safety, comfort and healing for those who are injured, and strength for the family members who are separated from their love ones.
BIG Texas hugs to all....

A PRAYER OF PROTECTION
The light of God surround you The love of God enfold you The power of God protect you The presence of God watch over you Wherever you are, God is, And all is well. Amen.
BLESS THIS HOUSE Bless this house O Lord we pray; Make it safe by night and day;
Bless these walls so firm and stout, Keeping want and trouble out:
Bless the roof and chimneys tall, Let thy peace lie over all;
Bless this door, that it may prove ever open to joy and love.
Bless these windows shining bright, Letting in God's heav'nly light;
Bless the hearth a'blazing there, with smoke ascending like a prayer;
Bless the folk who dwell within, keep them pure and free from sin;
Bless us all that we may be Fit O Lord to dwell with thee;
Bless us all that one day we May dwell O Lord with thee.
