Here in Stagecoach, Nevada there is snow on the Virginia Hills to the north of us. Cloud cover and a light fog remain over the valley. The birds must be sleeping it, for nary a bird has visited our bird feeder this morning.

There will be leftists that will, with a straight face, blame this on Global Warming.

Actually, many of them are now calling this "global climate change" rather than global warming. Expect to hear that phrase more often.

On a similar note, here in East Tennessee, it was 44 this morning and may make it to the mid 60’s.

Last year at this time I was in Alaska. It was warmer in May there then than it is in May here now.

The month of May hasn’t been to merry in Pennsylvania either. You would think the earth’s drifting out of orbit. Temps hovering around 40 for more nights than I care to count. Some went below that. We have the heat on right now.

Why did the one nice weekend so far this year in Portland have to be so Obama could get that shot of crowds “as far as the eye can see”?

60s and 70s and rain here. UGH!

Don’t you ignorant rednecks know it’s not global warming? It’s climate change!

Hot days, cold days, dry years, wet years, big storms, no storms, it’s all CLIMATE CHANGE!

All alike are proof that Gaia is angry with us wicked humans. Great sacrifices must be made to placate her anger.

You must immediately agree to pay far higher taxes, and hand over much more power to run the most minor details of your daily life to half-witted government bureaucrats who could not possibly keep a private sector job.

If you don’t, there will be heap bad juju and the polar bears will all DIE! Come on you heretic hayseeds, get with the program. Everyone else believes it, why don’t you?

Helena is under a winter storm warning and there is a rain/snow mix coming down at this time.

I just went out for dinner and noticed the mountain peaks around Pocatello have a fresh layer of snow. We were down to a few large, deep patches at the higher elevations on north facing slopes yesterday. It has warmed up to 44 F at my location (4600 ft elevation). The surrounding mountains rise to over 9,000 ft.
