Good for him. Our high school, and as far as I know the only one in the county, has one of these clubs. Thanks to two teachers in particular. I have held my tongue so that my daughter would not suffer under these tyrants, but the mail campaign starts today. First the board, and then the paper.
There was a “gay club” back when I was in high school, in georgia, in the mid-90’s. I love how everyone acts like this has never happened before.

Christian teachers need to reevaluate whether they should teach in government school at all:
Reasons:
* The offical godless worldview of the government schools can NOT coexist with a God-centered worlview. It is impossible. They can not occupy the same space. It is one or the other. Therefore, when Christian teachers teach in the government schools they are supporting, aiding, and assisting in the establishment of a godless religious worldview.
* Surely students can see that the government worldview conflicts with the Christian god-centered worldview. They must conclude that Christians are hypocrites, deliberate liars, stupid, or greedy for a paycheck.
* When Christian teachers attempt to sneak in a little Christian morality into the government schools then the students should rightfully conclude that Christians are timid, weak, and especially sly and sneaky.
I am not surprised that the statistics for Christian children remaining in the faith are so poor. The stats must be worse for non-Christian children. Who in their right mind would join a religion whose members are hypocrites, liars, weak, timid, sell their principles for a paycheck, and sly and sneaky?

narses: All Christians ( Catholic and Protestant) should get their kids out of the government school cesspools. And...Christian teachers ( Catholic and Protestant) should reconsider what lessons they are teaching the children if they remain teaching there.
Kudos to a principal with principles. There are far too few men like Eddie Walker is the government schools - - which is why most civilized Americans believe the government schools are hopeless and why parents who love thier children pull them out.
