If we are true to our conservative principles, we can only offer our prayers for the Senator, a child of God, and for whom God has a plan. May the Senator accomplish his portion of God’s plan, and if it be the will of God, may he heal and not suffer. May his family find peace and strength in this time of difficulty. At the end, may He accept his mortality and accept the eternity of God’s heaven.

I confess that pondering on Ted Kennedy releases a well of feelings that I do not like having towards another man. I ask God that he grants me the proper humility and humanity to appropriately deal with those feelings and those persons whose actions I oppose so strongly. I ask that God not only show a well lit pathway for Sen. Kennedy, but for me as well.
Prayers up to the Senator and his family.

1) First I pray for his salvation (for him to really surrender and find a relationship with Christ-if he doesn’t already..only God knows the heard, but works show..).
2) I also pray for his physical healing.
Christ was crucified between two thieves. There is always hope for deliverance until the very end. I do pray that if no miracle comes in his physical life, his soul will be purified unto eternity. All our best to him and his family during the immense suffering that will no doubt come.
It is sad.
Mark 11:25 “And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.”
(His personal politics aside (we all disagree with them), this man stands now not as a Senator, but as a sick and dying man. Jesus said, “Blessed are the merciful...” I hope FREEPERS will show alot of mercy here even though it is very difficult.)

May the Holy Spirit watch over Ted, enter his heart and give him peace, and to deal with whatever he must with dignity and humilty. May the Lord’s powers and grace bring salvation to his soul. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Assuming that scans of his brain were done during his carotid artery surgery in October 2007, and nothing was found, doesn’t that mean that this is a fast growing tumor (about 6 months).
And prayers for the Mods to have patience as they zot so many threads and replies.
As one who once was kicked off a different prayer thread one time, I'm treading carefully here.
Just wonderin'. How many zots have you handed out today? Are they one day suspensions?
Another prayer: Dear Lord.. When Ted Kennedy passes on to his reward.... give the mods extra extra patience.
And thanks for the job that you moderators do.
I'd like to say in a joking manner that you are well worth all the money we DON'T pay you, but I can pretty much guess you are in no joking mood today.
