Yes, I'm waiting for a conservative with courage to make that point.

I'm frustrated because it is so easy to make conservative points in very elementary language, and nobody has the courage!

If the Democrats nationally are like the ones I know here, they dismiss anything positive concerning Bush, period. They say revenues went up “in spite” of Bush's horrible policies, and they will go on to say past Clinton policies are responsible for it. Yeah, that makes no sense, but that is what they say here.

It is not all one way traffic fortunately for the company I work for.

We also sell to China and infact have just signed a 1.4million pound (just under 3 million US dollars) contract to supply one of our extrusion lines to a company in China.

Great post, txradioguy, and altogether truthful!

...however; I am afraid you are overlooking one factor, there are many Conservatives, far more than a few here on this very site, that absolutely LOVE getting to bitch and moan about Juan McCain [as they so cleverly refer to him.]

The philosophy of Rummy, "You go to war with the army you have..."...or the even older cliche, "When you have lemons, you make lemonade, [whether you care for lemonade or not.]...sadly, means nothing to them.

the Democrats are going to be SCREAMING for someone to step up

Wouldn't it be something if both Hussein AND McLettuce had to drop out for some reason? This could turn out to be the goofiest election ever!

On another note, 'People' has a picture of Jenna in her wedding dress, and an article about the wedding. This is the first issue I have purchased in years.

@@@@@

I didn't go shopping until yesterday, and I bought the last two copies in my large grocery store, which is in a Reagan democrat neighborhood. I am sure that no one in that area ever gets polled on the presidential job approval question. Their answers would 'skew' the poll in a favorable direction!

Sometimes I think it's more fun just to watch their numbers crash and make fun of them. Mostly Stupid nbc is always in the tank for the left and nbc is not much better at all. Rat nets all.
Problem with e-mailing them is that if they think they are getting to us we may get more blabberman than less.
I just turned on Sinatra I need a little energy.

How was your date with Rush in NYC at Patsy’s? Did he really fly you to L.A. on EIB 1?

Yes, I can’t believe that I twice voted against Ronald Magnus. (The silliness of youth, they were the first 2 elections I was old enough to vote in.) Getting high quality—conservative but not whacko—candidates at the congressional level seems to be the hardest thing in the states I’ve lived in.

The good ones seem either to rise up within politics fairly young—or transfer over from business. I hate seeing the senate get more and more plutocratic, but I think it may be necessary for the party to actively woo successful venture capital and high-tech entrepreneurs. They are often looking for another field to conquer (that will confirm for them that their financial success wasn’t a fluke), and if they were made to feel wanted enough I think more of them would take the plunge.

Anyway, good for you for paying attention at the congressional level!

Indeed, we are the dregs of the earth and should be shot on sight.

All hail to JUAN McCain!

It would really be a shame if, just as our European allies have seen the folly of liberal/socialist government and returned conservative leaders to power, conservatives in America decide to present our allies with socialist leaders over here. What Obama or Clinton could do in four years would be orders of magnitude more destructive than what Jimmy Carter could do. The dangers in our world are exponentially worse.

Consider a total breakdown of our ‘just-in-time” system of delivery of every product in use in our country, because of a failure of oil production by our enemies. If a Dem government enacts higher taxes, or more restriction on imports and exports, or becomes buddies with Chavez, just to name a few examples, we are headed for a monumental crash - followed by riots in American cities.
